Tried out this local burger place next to the train tracks. The meat was delicious. Tasted fresh and was cooked just right to be juicy and hot. When you order a basket of fries, man, be ready to share . If you’re looking for a quality burger in Pacific, check this place out. Order at the counter and then take a seat as the cooks prepare your meal fresh.

I got a smashed cowboy burger. It wasn’t quite as smashed as I expected, but the meat was noticeably seasoned and the bacon was nice and crispy. My food also seemed to be made fresh. I’d be happy to come back if I was to find myself in town again.

This place was awesome! Friendly service, and old time atmosphere! They had all the old Excel fountain sodas plus frozen root beer and frozen lemonade with free refills

Quaint and local. Truly, right off the rails in downtown Pacific. Nice atmosphere. They’ve been open since September 20 24 and serve great burgers. I had the classic cheeseburger and my wife had the cowboy burger and they are both excellent. If you’re looking for a good local burger place headway out of St. Louis West and go to Pacific and try the off the rails burger bar.

We’re driving from TX to Western NY. We pulled off the interstate for lunch and went into Pacific, Missouri for some real food in a real town. We were not disappointed by this cool little place! The burgers are generous, the fries great and they serve Excel Sodas! It’s old school AND hip. The staff are friendly as are the other patrons. This has been a great stop on our journey!

Definitely an off the rails burger, in the best way. I ordered the breakfast burger, but with beef instead of sausage, egg, bacon, and smoked cheddar.
The bacon was by far the best I’ve ever had on a burger. The burger as a whole was top 5, possibly top 3, that I’ve had, but that will require some thought and prioritization. Mac-n-cheese to go, which I’ve yet to try ,but I didn’t want to wait to do the review and risk forgetting.
If you’re lucky, you’ll feel the floor start to shake while you’re there while a freight of Amtrak blows by out back – a little extra ambiance.
I say it’s worth the drive if you’re in St Louis. Definitely, if you’re closer, at say, 6 flags.

While small on the outside they are big on taste. Getting their beef from a local farmer and all other ingredients are just as fresh and most of which are locally sourced.

Been wanting to go there for a while and finally went today. My wife and I both ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and I would have to say, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. We will definitely be going back.

We have tried all of the local burger joints in town and this little restaurant is much better than the competitors. Our specialty burgers were fairly priced, cooked to perfection (med rare ), and well seasoned… Something other restaurants don’t add enough of! Fries were mediocre which is fine with me. But, yum! We’ll come back soon!
