10/10 Cajun Cuisine on a dime! The staples are all covered. But I went with the Chicken Po’Boy w/ fries. I got more and more angry the more I ate, because that meant the sandwich was slowly disappearing. Everything was good on it, and bonus points for them buttering the bread.
The fried green beans were tasty, as long as you dipped em in that ranch. Yum. Fries were battered, crispy and flavorful. The hush puppies had sweet corn in them, and they hit the spot.
The sweet tea was superb – must try!
Didn’t just taste like sugar water…I could actually taste the notes of the tea!
Given I was on a visit from KC, I’m not a frequent patron here, but each time I visit Louisiana, better believe you’ll catch me at Off The Hook! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Burger was outstanding!!! Probably in contention for the best burger I’ve had in Baton Rouge….. seriously try it! We also had the fried shrimp and catfish. Catfish was good but the shrimp were excellent. Hush puppies are also excellent ….Service is SO FAST! Food was ready by the time I paid , got my drink then sat down…… onion rings are legit not frozen out of a bag….red beans and rice and also killer. Prices are also very fair and large portions….just check my pics. The staff was super friendly also. The manager even checked on us while dining and asked if he could bring us anything or refill our drinks….you don’t see that much anymore these days.! We were impressed!

Food was delicious but the service from Dee. Amazing!! She went over the entire menu. We wanted something light. Tried the crawfish ettoufee, Fried Catfish platter and red beans and rice. She is very knowledgeable. Very energetic and so friendly. We will return again, just because of her. Go Gators!!

Enjoyed the service, it was fast and efficient. The food tasted GREAT! Catfish was fried and seasoned to perfection along with crispy fries and fresh hush puppies. All complimented very well by the Hook sauce and delicious lemonade and sweet tea. Definitely will be eating here again.

We came in for lunch today and let me tell you how amazing it was. Being from Louisiana it’s hard to get good Cajun food fast, but this place blew my mind. From walking in being greeted, to the manager Justin coming around seeing if everything was good. I’ve gotta say I was really shocked how great this place was. Will definitely be back.

Let me start off with the staff here!!! Super nice!!! I was greeted when I entered the restaurant, they answered my questions nicely and the manager was very kind… Customer service 10/10!
Food: We ordered the pepper jelly shrimp wrap with red beans and rice, and I must say those red beans and rice were really good! Our wrap was good, too!
Now the place was spacious and nice, but the floor was really sticky!!! … but because the service was great and the food was good, I will definitely visit here again! I figured maybe they just needed a moment to mop because the lady cleaned the tables as soon as people left.

I have eaten at OTH before and thought the food was really good. Today it was a little off. I had a Catfish PoBoy and the catfish was a little over cooked and dry. The bread also wasn’t as fresh.
Hopefully this was just an off day. The service is great… friendly staff and the restaurant is always very clean and bright.
I’ll have to give them another try later on.

I came to this place for the very first time with my significant other.
I ordered the half and half po-boy (shrimp/catfish). The bread was delicious and so was the dressing (mayo, lettuce, tomato).
The catfish is based in mustard before it’s coated. If you don’t like mustard coatings on foods before it’s fried, you will not enjoy the catfish.
The fried shrimp was okay.
It will not be a place that I would ever consider returning back to because it is TOO EXPENSIVE for the quality of food received. I could have dined in at a much better place had I known this.
The chicken and sausage gumbo is alright.
Their roast beef (my bf ordered that) was surprisingly good…but I only ate a few bites of the meat to check it out.
All-in-all, this was a ONE-AND-DONE for me.
