I drove an hour and a half to get here and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all. This place was a great mix of new-ish style with cozy quaint New Hampshire coffee shop. They had a bunch of options for food and good coffee options as well. The inside was beautifully decorated and there was a bunch of options to sit you could sit and wait at the counter for your food or hey have some couches you can sit and relax on as well. They had some great seasonal latte flavors and they can also do regular latte flavors as well just depending on what you want. the baristas were extremely friendly and gave me a sticker for the road which was extremely nice 🙂 and was awesome! Would 100% recommend this place!!

Bottom line is, they understand the coffee experience, from origin to tasting to caring for direct trade coffee and their families and presenting their customer with an excellent coffee experience. Baked goods were delicious. Odysea is bright, offers great hospitality, and has cute spaces to sit.

If you get a chance to talk with the local owners, be sure to hear their story & their story about coffee. You’ll see why Odysea is a stand alone experience.

Local gem.

My family stayed in the area for the weekend. We absolutely loved the Odysea Cafe. We were there 2 mornings in a row. Coffee was delicious and fresh. My other family members all got various breakfast croissants which were a big hit! I myself was overjoyed by the berries and cream Crepes and had them both times. We also shared a piece of their delicious chocolate cake and snacked on some fantastic scones. Atmosphere was clean , spacious, modern and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was all made from scratch and of high quality as well as came in a very timely manner. We can’t say enough good things about this spot!!

I do not normally give 5-stars across all categories, but this place earned it. From the food (berries and creme crepes, avo and prosciutto toast, lemon bar) to the beverages (London Fog, sparkling water), to the service, to the laid back and comfy atmosphere, I have ZERO complaints! This place is phenomenal.
Well worth the meandering drive to Bristol.

This restaurant is a treasure hidden in the seemingly mediocre feel of rural countryside. I will definitely return. I Loved my visit.

Delicious food, craft made drinks of all types, modern industrial atmosphere which still manages to feel cozy. I think the wooden beams and panels in the ceiling help with the coziness.

I hung out here with my kids for hours while some issues at my home were being worked on and I was just super comfortable. Everyone was so friendly, the sense of community here is strong.

I highly recommend the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. Their sausage patties are delicious. We got extra eggs and meat at a reasonable cost IMO.

Missing Odysea coffee so badly! came here a few weeks ago while on vacation at new found lake. Amazing breakfast sandwiches, over the top coffee and matcha, and delicious pastries. Quick and friendly service. I can’t wait to come back.

I had a wonderful time at this café. My boyfriend and I went here during our winter getaway and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The café mocha was so pretty and delicious, the chorizo sandwich was bomb, and the atmosphere was cozy and styled with some really nice furniture and cute paper stars. Oh and the Nutella strawberry crepe was awesome. The only reason I gave a 4 for food was because I feel like the other sandwiches lacked a little in flavor. For example, if the pesto chicken sandwich had some tomatoes and balsamic glaze, it would be unstoppable. Overall, I love this place. It was a core memory of my time here in New Hampshire.

A+++++. I can’t decide what is best about Odysea. The fresh baked goods, each one I’ve tried is amazing and so creative. They have the usual items and then others that blow you away, like the blueberry bread pudding. The bagels are worth the drive there alone, especially the jalapeno bagel. Then when they add egg and cheese, out of this world goodness. The chorizo is spectacular. I’m not even kidding you. It’s the best around, easily.
Homemade cream cheese? Yep, they sure do and it is spectacular.
The salads are creative and fresh out of the garden fresh.
Then there’s the coffee which is fresh roasted right on site. The beans they roast come fresh from Honduras. When you combine that freshness along with the careful attention to detail from the baristas, who themselves are masters of their craft (more of that later), you get a superb cup of coffee. A cup of excellence, which also happens to be a prestigious rating in the coffee industry, cup of excellence.
The folks who make the coffee, each A+ all stars. Try this when you go… Ask them to make their favorite drink for you. You’ll get something excellent. I like a cortado. Easy to find when we lived near Seattle, here in New Hampshire? Not so much. Here at Odysea they know exactly what it is and make it exactly right. It’s award winning perfect. The pour over smells so good and fresh, then tastes even better. There isn’t a better collection of coffee artists in New Hampshire. The baristas here could win awards with the skill and attention to detail.
The seating inside is perfect. Tables and chairs if you want that, comfy chairs if you want that. If you like to sit at a counter, they have that too. Good Wi-Fi if you need to catch up on work. They play music, but it’s not too loud that you can’t talk at the table easily. They also have nice clean bathrooms and even a selection of clothing to buy while you’re there.
Stop in if you’re close. Stop in if you’re not close. You won’t regret the decision. We’ll drive an hour one way to stop in. Totally worth it.

Francisco offered a coffee class this weekend. My husband liked it so much on Saturday, that I went on Sunday. Fran is so knowledgeable and interesting! He is very passionate about growing, harvesting, processing, roasting, and serving specialty coffee. The vibe is so cute, the food delicious, and the coffee the BEST! We highly recommend Odysea! Such a treasure in Bristol.

I attended a class at Odysea Coffee with Francisco, the owner, and it was excellent. There were four of us, and Francisco guided us through how different coffee varieties express distinct aromas and flavors. One of the highlights was a smell test using about nine different coffee aroma oils—we had to guess each scent. It was surprisingly challenging and really fun. We all felt like we knew what we were smelling, but couldn’t quite find the right word for it. As soon as Francisco revealed the answers, it was an instant “oh yeah!” moment every time.

Francisco also explained the full coffee-making process, showed us the coffee fruit itself, and walked us through the various methods of coffee processing, including the three most common methods for making decaffeinated coffee. It was incredibly informative and genuinely fascinating. I highly recommend keeping an eye out for one of Francisco’s classes at Odysea and attending if you can—they’re usually held on Saturday mornings. We’re also in the process of organizing a class in Spanish, which is exciting!
