I’m so glad I found this place on Google! I was looking for a place that served fried fish with eggs and grits for breakfast and this is the only place that I was able to find! I love trying local diners and was thoroughly impressed with this one! It was nice and clean, comforting, and the staff that greeted me was friendly! I ordered the flounder special with eggs, cheese grits, and rye toast. The food was amazing and that fish was very well seasoned!! I believe that the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you receive!! I can’t wait to come back and dine here again! Great service!!

What an absolute gem of a place. Went here for breakfast with my family. Particularly enamoured with the wonderful service: friendly, kind, polite, attentive to all of our group’s needs (and I have to be honest, there were some thanks to the kids!), I particularly loved the quiet attentiveness as the servers just check on the table each time they passed (as well as directly asking us if we needed anything on a couple of occasions) rather than falling into the trap of either extreme: ignoring us or constantly asking us. A perfect balance struck, and they even went so far as to generously give me a fresh coffee for the road. The food was also delicious across the board, cooked exactly as we’d asked and really good quality, with a lovely homely diner feel, an ideal place for breakfast. With no complaints or reservations whatsoever we really hope to return as soon as possible – I wish to follow the advice on the specials board to try the breakfast beans for a start!!! All in all, I wish I could give more than 5 stars as this spot really deserves that and more.

Amazing food! We went on a Saturday, and the place was busy. There were quite a few people ahead of us but the line moved quickly. We tried their country fried steak, house potatoes, pancakes, fried green tomatoes and corned beef hash. I have been craving corn beef hash for a bit and this place delivered!!! Their pancakes are to die for! I don’t think I have had better pancakes any where else. Give their fried green tomatoes a must try as well!

Food was really good. Service was great. It was starting to get a little busy after I came in but the staff made sure they came and checked to see if the food was good or if I needed anything. I had a Veggie omelette that was really good and the chicken and waffle. I don’t know who in the kitchen made that chicken but it was perfect. I don’t know the last time I had a perfectly made chicken breast like that, it had to have been butter milk, the way it was so crispy on the outside and tender inside. Seasoned just enough. I will definitely check this place out again. I love these small home town places like this. They put the extra into each meal that you can’t get from larger chains. I highly recommend this place

I love this place, the service is great. Just know out gets crowded. Prices are great, pancakes are huge and they literally make the best fried green tomatoes. That banana bread was like cake. They put butter in the grits, yummmmmm. Try them. You won’t be disappointed.

First time checking on this Local OV establishment. It has a nice Nautical environment and the customer service was very welcoming and accommodating. There was a waiting line when I arrived but the wait wasn’t long. I was seated at the counter and introduced to the friendly staff.

We stopped here on our way home from a beach weekend and really enjoyed our breakfast. Crab cake Benedict with cheese grits was delicious and the price fair. Husband enjoyed his Shamrock (corned beef) benny with home fries. Get a piece of the banana bread as an extra side – it’s good banana bread and they crisp up the slice a bit, maybe on a griddle, that makes it so yummy. Very friendly staff that gives this a mom and pop feel. Definitely recommend!
