On a mini vacation to ormond beach and of course while we were there the news reports were of the record low temps. Hmmm. Well, we decided to make the most of it. After all, 37 to 55 degrees looking at the ocean was better than 17 degrees and snow at home. We decided that we would still indulge in ocean vacation foods that we can’t really get at home… we stumbled upon the Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like they were waiting all day for just us to come visit. Greeted with a smile. The server took extra concern of our table location since we were sat next to a birthday party and they were excited so it was a bit loud (expected). She moved us to a more secluded spot by the window with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We ordered jalapeño margaritas that were so yummy and warmed us up in a cold day , street corn dip that was so yummy and creamy. A little different than we’ve had from our local restaurants back home. I ordered the shrimp and grits, thank God I did… I enjoy this dish so much that I order it at least once during every vacation. This dish is a top contender in my book. May be the best Shrimp and Grits ever… My better half ordered the lobster roll, he asked if they only served it chilled as on the menu because he had never had a traditional Maine lobster roll, warm with butter. She said absolutely, we make these to order and we can do either version. YAY, just for the record, we are now believers that a true lobster roll should be warm with butter! The rest of the staff was very friendly and made sure our every need was met. This will be a regular spot for us each time we come to the area to visit family. If you are on the fence of where to go to experience amazing seafood dishes and feel truly special, you absolutely must come to Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill.

Had an incredible experience at this beachside restaurant! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The lobster mac and cheese was immaculate! So rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The service was outstanding, with friendly, efficient staff who clearly enjoy working together. They moved as a team, which made the whole experience feel smooth, warm, and welcoming. Absolutely loved this spot and can’t wait to go back!

Wife and I visited this local establishment while staying the weekend in Ormand Beach. Staff were very friendly and it looked like the owner possibly, was making rounds to check on all patrons. My wife had the lobster roll and as a native Nova Scotian said it was very good, and you know they can do lobster up there. Being a native southern or I ordered the shrimp and grits. Also very tasty. Grits were creamy and the shrimp seasoned well. They have indoor and outdoor seating right across the street from the beach. Very nice relaxing setting.

This restaurant is their second. The first is in Flagler Beach. This is closer to Ormond. It is definitely upscale and top notch. The decor is outstanding. The staff is smiling, attentive and appropriately quick. The food simply outstanding in taste and appearance is what I would expect in higher end restaurant. Wait, I’m wrong. This is a high end restaurant just not with the high end price. Not for long though. $42 for breakfast and drinks. More food then you can eat. Go figure. Definitely deserves a return visit.

Oceanside Beach Bar was very enjoyable. The location is hard to beat, just a field goal from the Atlantic. Great happy hour drink specials served by attentive and friendly staff. Priscilla and Kevin were super friendly.
The views, especially the colorful skys at Sunset made our visit memorable .

Chicken n waffles were hands down the worst I’ve ever had.. and I’m sorry to say that honestly.. a TYSON nugget would’ve been bigger then the “nuggets” I got for my chicken n waffles.. waffles were soggy and not good within 2 bites.. highly do not recommend chicken n waffles. Keep in mind this is a 18$ order of chicken and waffles. No extra sides no nothing just “chicken nuggets” and a waffle..
what shocked me more is the fact someone can pick my food up and not question why I didn’t eat 80% of it and be okay with it lol I’ve been a server for 4-5 years when I was younger and I still have the common knowledge every server should have.. only have been here a handful of times loved it every other time.. just stay away from the chicken n waffles trust me..

I wanted to come back and add something deeply personal. This was the very last restaurant where I unknowingly got to share a meal with my father, just two days before he passed. Because of that, this place now holds an indescribably special place in my heart. I’m forever grateful for the beautiful setting, warm atmosphere, and care that allowed us to enjoy such a meaningful moment together. Those memories will stay with me for the rest of my life <3
