My partner and I decided to dine in at this lovely restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Best lamb dhansak I’ve ever had. Rid and max were fantastic waiters they were so attentive and clearly really cared about their food, customers and culture. Overall could not recommend more, you will not be disappointed. We will be back!!! Thank you Rid and Max you truly made our evening!!

Indian restaurant on the seafront. Beautifully decorated inside, food was delicious from the papadums & sauces to the main meal. On this occasion we brought some alcohol from the shop next door they had a temporary licensing issue.

I recently visited Ocean Spice Takeaway on the Hastings beachfront and was thoroughly impressed! The service was friendly and efficient- my order arrived quickly and with a smile. I tried the chicken tikka starter, followed by paneer and basmati rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced.

This was our first visit here, and it was a pleasant experience. We ate at 2 pm today, and were the only customers. I had to keep my coat on, as the radiators were not on, and it was a little cold.
The food was excellent, but the only small disappointment, was the starters and the main course did take quite a long time to get to us. While we were seated, we saw that the takeaway service was busy, and felt that this took priority. We will certainly return to the restaurant, again, as the food quality was extremely good, and the person serving us was nice.

Popped in on the off-chance. As early diners just after 6pm, 11th February ‘26, my 68th, my wife and I were the only two diners in the in the restaurant. Always unsure about being the first into a restaurant.!!
However the waiter (son of the owner), was a great host. He made us feel welcome and valued, coupled with great food. Totally recommend. Thank you

I was visiting Hastings for a bit and came across this Indian restaurant — such a great find! The chicken biryani was full of flavour and the spicy wings had just the right amount of heat. The staff were lovely and the whole place had a really welcoming feel. Definitely recommend if you’re in town!
