We would definitely return for a delicious dinner. Appears people want to dress for a night out and reservations are recommended for over five. Since there were only two of us, we could reserve our table at 4:45 for 5:30 reservation in person. Reservations for less than 4 are not taken until 4:00 or after. Food was great. The back bar was nice to hang out until 5:30 when the hostess let us know it was our time. Genevieve in the back bar was delightful and personable. Highly recommend but be prepared to schedule your time ahead.

Had a fantastic lunch at Ocean Grill in Vero Beach! The atmosphere was relaxing with beautiful ocean views, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. This restaurant was a busy place. The food was average, but the onion rings were terrible to a point we couldn’t eat them. It felt a bit chaotic in the restaurant and prices seemed a bit high for the quality served. I suppose oceanfront restaurants charge more, but it should still be a quality meal.

Went a few days ago (Tuesday for lunch). The place is beautifully decorated. The service is good; the waitress was super nice. We had a table near the windows; the place is in front of the beach, amazing views.
The food was excellent; we had the fried shrimp, a salad, and the red snapper that was amazing! Also, they don’t give you bread but muffins that I couldn’t resist. Love the place; totally recommend.

Used to come here with my Parents as a kid, have been wanting to visit again and finally got the chance. Everything was amazing. The food was refreshing, the ambiance, having the clam chowder was just as good as before. The gift shop was amazing too. Can’t wait to visit again soon!!

My wife and I had an early dinner here on Monday, August 18 2025 while visiting the Vero Beach area. We’d eaten here twice before on previous trips to the area, but both times it was during “the season” and very crowded. This time, it was perfect and very quiet on a hot summer Monday night with almost no one in the bar or restaurant when we arrive shortly after it opened. We sat at a nice two person table that had a nice view of the Atlantic Ocean. The inside ambience here is somewhat old and rustic, but it’s clean and super cozy feeling. I ordered the “Jake’s Steak” (a 9 oz butterfly filet mignon) and my wife had a petite filet mignon. Both were perfectly cooked to our preferred temperatures. For desert, we shared their house creme brulee and it was outstanding. There is a reason this place has been a local favorite for over 50 years here on Vero Beach. It’s an icon and a restaurant par excellence.

Ocean Grill is a must-go-to place when you are in Vero Beach. I highly recommend. Jill, our waitress, was outstanding. She went above and beyond to take care of us. The atmosphere is honestly outstanding. Every inch of the restaurant is amazing. I am still in disbelief of all the decorations. Each room in this place was decorated for Halloween. And the food – there are no words to describe it. It’s hard to go to a restaurant nowadays with a group of friends and have every single person at the table love the food they ordered, and we all ordered something different. Again, a must-go-to place! Oh, wait, but there’s more – a gift shop that will blow your socks off. If you go on vacation, make sure you leave room in your suitcase.

The decorations for Halloween are AMAZING! The Ocean view is like no other! Spectacular for atmosphere. The food is pricey. I give the food a 4 star not very big portions fish was tiny. Soup was good size and delicious. Two of our dishes were very good and one was OK. The service was not as you would expect. I was told I had to take my drink that I brought with me off the table. First words out of the servers mouth. I need that drink since I have heath issues with regular water and cannot drink alcohol or soda. I explained I would put it away. My husband went to the bar and got a glass and I poured it in that. Problem solved thanks to his quick thinking. Just not a friendly guy. The bar was super cute. It was like you were on a boat on the ocean! My husband and son had some alcohol and we enjoyed the view! Overall 4 stars ⭐️ highly recommend. Fun experience and superb location!

Wonderful anniversary dinner of stuffed shrimp and pear martini. Husband had pesto primavera which was very good. Awesome Halloween decorations. Our waiter David provided excellent service! Love this iconic restaurant!
