Lady there basically overcharges people, hoping they don’t notice. For an $11.45 lunch special, paying cash, she’ll ask for $13.25 where as with tax, it should be $12.21. Not the end of the world, but it’s a dishonest way of conducting business.

This place is one of the best Chinese spots in the area. I’ve lived in middlesex for 4 years and have tried most of the Chinese spots around. Consistently good and reasonable prices. Some go to’s are the lo mein, General Tsos, and beef broccoli.

Another extremely satisfied customer! I received my dinner tonight and everything is awesome! My friend Donna got her spring rolls, AKA vegetable rolls, and she was very happy. Lings husband, the delivery guy, is the nicest person you could ever meet! I’m glad she lets him out once in a while. LOL
This might sound like the craziest thing. My ex-wife used to do all the ordering from Chinese restaurants. For the most part, I don’t know what I really like and what goes with what. Lings Lin the owner, or at least the wife of the owner, has made my experience so much better. It seems like such a trivial thing for most people, but for me, it makes me extremely happy. Because she will take the time through Facebook messaging to explain everything and anything.
Unfortunately I isolate myself, so dealing with Ling and having her husband deliver my dinner, was true happiness. As I sat in my kitchen, my cell phone rang, and I heard Ling’s husband through the phone and outside, just saying, “Dave I’m here.” It just sounded like a friend stopping by, and I am so grateful! This establishment is something special. More than just the Great food. The great people that own it as well!

We love ordering from Ocean Garden and do it weekly when our daughter takes dance class. The owners are super friendly, and the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The price too is super reasonable, hands down our fav Chinese takeout spot in NJ. It’s authentic too, I am Chinese myself and I appreciate the effort they put into the food. We especially love the boneless spare ribs, dumplings, and the chow fun, the kids prefer this place than anywhere else we order. Support your local business!!

Omg my first time ordering from Doordash and it was wonderful. The Boneless Rid was awesome sauce and the Shrimp Lo Mein was great nice juicy not dried out. I will order again but next time in person.

Okay so if i had a real choice, i would put a -1Million stars. The lady is so rude, tip tip tip. Like ma’am, I cannot tip, it’s hard as hell these days. I got bills and kids and i could really cook but I’m supporting your business. One time you gave me raw chicken and i asked and begged for you to help me out on this one because I’m a consistent buyer yet you didn’t help at all. All you kept saying was it has to be done and bro.. I took pictures. It was raw. I was buying to much. Spending so much money and tipping because it’s like, I didn’t want you to spit in my food if I didn’t tip. It seemed like you would do something to my food. I had a veryyy long conversation with your son who spoke English and he said he will let you know & that he knows tipping isn’t required. It isn’t, it’s against the law for you to force someone to tip or you don’t deliver. It’s unfair to the customer to be paying a delivery fee and a tip. Like come on, sometimes we did tip, $5 here $3 there and so forth but when a person doesn’t have it, we just don’t have it. Like you cannot pressure us to tip. It’s only a 6 minute drive, Uber eats don’t even charge that much. How would you? You keep saying it’s so far and it’s really not :/ you are very extremely rude but i wish you the best. You seem to not care at all for your customers and that will really play big factors for the business and it’s future. It’s a shame. You shouldn’t be that greedy. People are tired of you forcefully tipping. Out of pocket fr. I’m about to make my own Chinese store.
