We usually order General Tso’s chicken and sweet & sour chicken. Sometimes the chicken is cooked good, tender and not stringy but other times it’s not. This past Friday (1/16/26), we ordered takeout and both dishes were overcooked: overly crispy, dry, and stringy.
I ate the General Tso’s chicken only because I was hungry, but the sweet & sour chicken went to waste. Based on the inconsistency, we cannot recommend this place and will be looking for another option.
We ordered the hibachi. It was ok. Not that it was bad, it was edible for sure. But it didn’t come with fried rice, it was just white rice in a Chinese container. I was hoping for proper hibachi fried rice. The rest of it was good. Nothing to blow your socks off, but good. I would definitely recommend to people who aren’t looking for a whole hibachi dinner and more of a quick lunch, but for the price it was a little underwhelming.
Again, the food itself was decent. But for the price of a hibachi meal I could have picked a few other places local that are substantially better.
Edit: the response from the owner was excellent and I’ve raised it to a 4 because honestly taking customers in stride with grace deserves at least that.
I got the honey walnut chicken with a side of lomein and it was disappointing. The chicken dish was dry and the lomein lacked flavor. My fiance ordered the general tso. His entree was decent but I’ve had a much better gen tso. My fiance’s friend ordered the meifun. That was also a disappointment.
If I were to ever go back there again, it’d probably be for the sushi, not their kitchen courses. But safe to say that this place didn’t leave a good impression and won’t be back at all.
But overall, very good! And we’ll be back!
