It takes a lot for me to give a negative review because I know these restaurants rely on customer service and positive experiences.
What I experienced here was probably the worst service I’ve ever had in any restaurant. It was a Sunday afternoon a little chilly out, so it wasn’t very crowded. My husband and I took a nice walk on Hollywood Beach and decided to stop in for lunch after an hour of sitting at the table waiting for our food, the parking meter was getting ready to expire and honestly, our food was nowhere in insight, our waitress was nowhere in sight, and as I looked around the few tables that were there didn’t have food either. Went to the hostess explained what was going on, and she didn’t really care. She didn’t say I’ll get your server, or I’ll check on your meal, nothing, so we left.
All they had to do was acknowledge there was an issue with the order and we would have stayed… but nothing. I guess that’s how you treat your customers during high season because if it’s not us at the table, it will be someone else.

Freddy was a great attentive server and i really appreciate great service. Heaters were brought out making the 30 degree temp more comfortable. Food was great and not expensive. Good value. Food was GREAT. I got the Caribbean Benedict with the salmon. Coffee was good. I absolutely recommend for breakfast!

So what I ordered is the boiled bowl with scallops. The best combination of protein, fat, and carbs. The dish has cut corn and potatoes dipped in the hot butter. It’s perfect for the cold evening, thanks to the arctic wind on January 2026. The location is great with the ocean view.

Every time we go to Hollywood Beach we eat at Ocean Alley. My husbands favorite is the Crab Boils. My favorite is the breakfast Caribbean Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. Those Bloody Mary’s are the beast in the beach Boardwalk! If you haven’t tried the Coconut Crusted Mahi Mahi I suggest giving that a try as well. The atmosphere is wonderful and all the staff are very friendly. This is our favorite Boardwalk restaurant!

I was so impressed with this place. The bartender Y. Romero nailed everything. She was amazing. My drink was never empty, she checked back on my food multiple times, and even went out of her way for special requests. I would hire her at any upscale restaurant. I ordered thre grouper and I was overjoyed with not only the size of the filet, but the size of the accompaniments. I ordered double veg and it came out cooked just perfectly. Squash and zucchini are so difficult to cook properly with other hard root vegetables. The grouper filet was extremely large and covered with a great sauce. My suggestion is on presentation. Don’t put it in a bowl, it needs to be spread out on a platter for not only visual of the size of the fillet, but also not having to mix the sides together with all the sauces.

We’ve been coming to Hollywood for years & decided to try this place. It was awful. We waited at least 15 minutes after being seated, for a server to come to the table. After taking our order it took a half hour to get our food (we were a party of 3.) We were told there were only 2 servers working. The food came and it was awful. The rigatoni ala vodka was overcooked and the sauce was very, very pale pink, from having too much cream, I would assume. It was barely hot & tasted terrible. For 24.99? I sent it back. My friend ordered pasta & wild mushrooms for 27.99. It was a very small portion, was cold & tasted sour. That also was sent back. The 3rd person ordered fish & chips, which was fair at best & very bland, but edible. Don’t waste your time or your money here… plenty of other places along the broadwalk to try.

I had such a great experience at Ocean Alley Restaurant & Beach Bar! We came in for lunch and our server, Kenzie, was honestly amazing. She knew the menu really well and helped us pick a few things we ended up loving. Her service was super warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever feeling pushy.
You can tell she genuinely cares about her tables. Drinks stayed full, food came out exactly how we wanted, and she checked on us the perfect amount. She has such a friendly energy and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable.
Kenzie is a fantastic server, y’all really did a great job hiring her.
Definitely coming back next time we’re in the area!

Staff was super friendly. Freddy was a fun dude to serve us. Temp could have been a little warmer but I can’t ask too much from them. It is November. Food was just ok. But the price was right for us.

Service was good. Food tasted great. The only thing on their menu they have an all day happy hour but the server told me they changed it and it’s only from 9pm to close…. Time for new menus. Anyway besides that the food tasted pretty good happy with that. Had the Tri trío & turkey sausage biscuits.

Ordered bbq wings with blue cheese dip and fries. They brought the wings with ranch drizzled all over and some old fries. We brought this to the attention of the server who apologized and requested a remake of both. She was very very nice. Unfortunately the food runner was not happy with us and proceeded to bad-mouth us loud enough for us to hear. He tossed the wings on our table without a word. The fries I’m pretty sure were the same ones. The wings were pretty good. We enjoyed them. Unfortunately the mood was ruined. The server took the fries off the bill. She was really great.
