I got the $35 ribeye steak sandwich and it was nothing more than a steak with absolutely no seasoning sitting on one slice of soggy sourdough bread. A “sandwich” with one tiny piece of bread and sided with some frozen fries. I almost forgot the whole garlic cloves they grilled for about 30 seconds before shoveling it over everything.

Excellent fish. The chips were a little salty for our taste, but all around good meal. Always good food and excellent service.

We initially stopped in to buy water bottles prior to our hike and then came back post-hike for some much needed food. Everything was served fresh and the Piccadilly fries were great! The sour cream sauerkraut was an odd surprise to see on the menu but tasted good.

It was good. We were there for breakfast, driving from 45mi east Elko. We’d been there before and always enjoyed it… biscuits and gravy were good. CFS tasty as well, eggs perfect. Asked for hash browns crispy they were delicious. Again, tasty gravy!!
Just expect to get up and ask for everything, the 2 ladies who obviously had charge of the bar, came over when waived.
Perhaps the way service works here now. I just didn’t remember it that way…
Always nice for a drive and a good bite!!

We have been to this restaurant more times than we can count. It’s consistently good American food. Staff is awesome, friendly, and attentive, even when it’s crazy-busy (it gets slammed in there at times). It’s a great restaurant for any meal of the day. Highly recommend. And this time of year, sometimes they have the wood stove roaring – it’s the best! So cozy and warm.

O’Carrol’s is a wonderful, rustic restaurant with excellent food! We loved the covered front porch for lunch. The Basque sausage sandwich and onion rings were all great! The nicest people work here, they even gave my dog a treat!

It’s a cute little place, and the food was ok, but not great. The people are friendly but they never asked us what we wanted to drink and I had to ask to get my water filled up. My wife ordered a Basque Chorizo Dog, and got a Kielbasa. I ordered a Basque Chorizo Sandwich and got a Basque Chorizo Dog cut in half.

Great burgers and cold beer after exploring Lamoille Canyon. Also had a Ruby Dipper that was delicious. Friendly and attentive service. We will definitely be back.

Stopped over in Elko, NV on our way to Yellowstone and a local lady we met recommended O’Carroll’s. What a cute local joint. Our waitress Danielle was so cute and such a delight! The food was so good! We had Piccadilly for the first time and loved them. They’re similar to tater tots but lighter, so good! I had a Basque Chorizo dog and my husband had fish and chips (Piccadilly). Both were excellent. If ever near Elko, Spring Creek or Lamoille you should go to O’Carroll’s.

Homemade chicken fried steak delicious and the gravy flavor was next level.! Could work on friendliness and the atmosphere needs a remodel. Totally worth it though.
