We hosted a retirement party there and Cass our waitress was the best ever. She is so kind gracious and took care of our group of 30 plus people with ease. I have never experienced such wonderful staff anywhere in my life. They helped with the decorating they helped arrange the tables. They helped in every aspect. I was able to decorate. They waited the tables for 30 something people. It looked fabulous. I cannot thank all of the people here. The ownership Chip, the staff are so sweet and kind. The food was excellent. Andrew helped on every level. Kassandra, Jeremy Frank (Francisco) Ricardo, everyone here are just the most incredible people. I cannot be more thankful or more appreciative for such a wonderful experience.

My partner’s mother celebrated her sixty-first birthday here with family a few days ago due to its convenient location, and she has recommended the food to us. The servers here were really nice and accomodating, and did their best to get us everything we needed. We were able to get a private table due to several members of our party needing to social distance from other patrons because of health complications. Aside from the general experience, the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. They have a specialty macaroni and cheese that tastes delicious, full of good spices. My partner loved his pizza and the fact that it comes with a bottle of hot honey on the side. Prices are pretty good for what you’d get, too. I would highly recommend this pour house.

The dining room and bar are in separate areas. The dining room closed around 8:00 pm. Everything we ate was bursting with flavor seriously, the seasoning on the meats was rich, and the sides were so fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly, helpful.

The food at Poorhouse Grill was amazing. Absolutely no complaints there. Everything we ordered tasted great, and that’s honestly the only positive part of this experience.
Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our visit. We came here around 7:00 PM to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday. Our group was small and relaxed, just myself, my sister, my niece, and my brother-in-law. We were there to enjoy good food and spend time together, not rush through a meal.
From the start, it felt like our server was trying to push us out the door. I wasn’t even a quarter of the way finished with my food when she brought out to-go boxes and asked if we wanted the check. She repeatedly interrupted our conversations while we were still actively eating, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and rushed.
What made this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was mostly empty. There was plenty of open seating, and it was nowhere near closing time. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, and we were there for less than an hour total, including ordering and waiting for our food. There was absolutely no reason to rush us out.
I’ve never had a server make me feel so unwelcome. Being handed to-go boxes while you are still eating is not good service. Servers should allow guests to finish their meals and conversations naturally instead of assuming they want to leave. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. It’s a shame, because the food was great, but the service was so bad that it completely overshadowed everything else.

Great atmosphere to vibe in. Plenty of sports on multiple televisions and an endless supply of drinks. The chicken I ordered just didn’t have the BBQ taste and the ribs tasted like they were cooked in the oven instead of the BBQ pit and the texture was not moist but ruff.

The server kind of brushed me off when she realized I wasnt there to drink (have food, watch UFC with a friend). She would only talk to him and get his drink order and he had to ask for a menu. She became nicer after we ordered food and she noticed I just had non-alcoholic drinks. Overall it was a great time. The pizza and onion rings were fantastic.

Just mid food the club house burger was way too soggy and had a forgettable flavor. The fries were good they had a nice crisp outside. But the bench’s are super uncomfortable. The water is 10/10. It’s way too expensive for a mediocre meal. The food isn’t that bad but I wouldn’t eat here again.

Winton a couple days ago. Everything was great the food the drinks, even though they didn’t have the first three things I asked for. But our server was amazing. Even when there was a problem with my food the way he handled it was top-notch. Communicated with us about everything period was taken care of the whole building but still had time to answer questions. He was great
