Est. in 1884 as Schlitz Beer Distribution, name was changed to Oblio’s Lounge after the Comic strip character Oblio from The Point. Within 2 years of name change, Mark Schultz and Todd Cummings took over ownership and and managed Oblio’s Lounge for approximately 44 years. In April of 2023, Cory Krolczyk and Blake Kieler took over ownership. We host live music, karaoke on Thursdays, and are happy to host privates parties in any of our 3 bars. We had a great time at Obilo’s! The staff and locals were super friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is charming, fun and comfortable. We watched the packer game and the bartenders came around often to make sure we were included in the game day raffle and festivities. We’ll definitely be back!

I was having a good time when this awful bartender (name is Q) that also happens to somehow be the manager was extremely rude and clearly has no idea how to give good service because I asked for a shot a certain way because I’m diabetic and he said “how about you let me do it the way I want to” and then after trying to explain my reasoning he refused me service for the rest of the night. I have no idea how he is a manger he made the entire experience horrible!

This downtown bar/lounge has been remarkably preserved over time. When you walk into this establishment you step back into time, the time when breweries owned bars to showcase their brews and beautiful bar backs. From my understanding the Schlitz Brewing Company purchased the building way back in 1886, making this one of the longest running bars in Oshkosh. The lounge is very popular with all sorts of crowds from the old timers, middle aged and the college crowd. Stop in and enjoy your favorite beverage!

Nice place but a 5 dollar drink was charged as a 14 dollar drink after the fact of it processing as 5. How can you make a mistake or steal like that. Plus took cash out to pay the rest of the night and tip instead of using the card. No response back. Highway robbery. 9 dollar tip stolen plus the tips in cash that I left.
