Went on a super busy night to get some delicious ice cream and huge shout out to my man Greg for having the best attitude ever and going out of his way to help me. Wish I could work with this man myself! He brings such a positive vibe to this place. Will definitely come back. My man Greg deserves the biggest raise!

Oberweis has some of the best ice cream, period. We haven’t visited this Oberweis before but we were in the area and had a taste for some ice cream. There was virtually no one inside on the Saturday afternoon when we visited so our ice cream came out in probably a minute. We each got two different scoops and every flavor was great. It’s also a great place for date night!

Excellent! This location is easy to spot from Army Trail and I decided to stop in as a treat after an appointment. They have a huge selection of ice cream and shakes/sundaes etc. Service was fast and friendly, and my sundae was brought to my table in only a couple minutes. The store was clean, bathroom was clean too. Nice treat on a 91 degree day!

Cookie and cream shake all the way! Turtle sundae with chocolate dipped waffle bowl is pretty fire, melts quickly and gets messy fast. Love to take the birthday cake or vanilla pint home and make cookie sandwichs with them. Also the pies are a great “celebration” dessert on the go and grab. Individual slices already so easy for you.

We had a great experience here after ordering three frozen mocha latte drinks and a hot lava cake.
We ordered from the drive thru and our server was a very considerate lady. We asked if any of these desserts had marshmallow in the ingredients and requested not to have any of those. She informed us that the whipped cream does contain marshmallow. We were so grateful to see the staff make our order without whipped cream. They also remade our molten lava cake, after they had accidentally given us one with the whipped cream.
Although we missed the drive thru server’s name, we hope to acknowledge her excellent and communicative service. She was at the drive thru at 7:30 on Saturday. We appreciate her and the rest of the Oberweis staff this evening for giving us such accomodating and courteous service for our special request on our order. Thank you!

Very nice Oberweisd. I was with a group, and I specifically gave my order to the employee to get a chocolate covered waffle cone with one scoop of espresso chip ice cream and another scoop of coffee ice cream. They ended up giving me a glass bowl of two scoops of espresso bean ice cream only. Completely different from what I ordered. But I was with a group, and they all got what they ordered and didn’t want to embarrass anyone. It’s still a very nice Oberweiss, and if I was by myself, I would’ve told them immediately and had the order changed. Things happen and I still recommend this location. Good air condition, fairly clean; and as usual, have the chess and checkerboards on some of the tables.

I had the turtle candy sundae and the ice cream and everything else was really good except for the pecans which had a strange flavoring to them. Normally, I like pecans in my sundaes, but I wouldn’t get anything with pecans here again unless they started flavoring them the same way everyone else does…They appear to have many good options without pecans, so I will probably return.

I’ve always had wonderful experiences at the Skokie and Park Ridge Oberweis locations, so I was looking forward to having the same kind of experience at this branch as well. Unfortunately, this particular visit left a bit to be desired. While nothing was overtly wrong, and the woman behind the counter was efficient, I didn’t get the warm, friendly vibe I’d come to expect from Oberweis. It just felt a little less inviting than my usual visits.
I ordered a pineapple milkshake, but it was way too sweet and didn’t have much flavor. I could only take a few sips before leaving most of it. This was a big letdown compared to the other locations, where the milkshakes are delicious and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
