This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Jax, coming from a Mexican family. The food is amazing and unlike anything I’ve had at the cookie-cutter Mexican restaurants. The food is delicious and well-seasoned, the drinks are phenomenal. They make my favorite espresso martini here in JAX, but my favorite is the guava margarita. Not only is the food great, but the ambience is beautiful, perfect for a date night. The service is super fast and the staff is always so accommodating and friendly. Ash in particular is always so helpful and attentive. I recommend this place to everyone who loves Mexican food but wants to try something new.

Came for a Friday night date night. The restaurant was very clean which I appreciated. Wasn’t too extremely loud or too quiet. Our food was delicious (special shout out to the street corn which we gorged ourselves on before I thought to take a pic). Chris was our server and he was super friendly and patient and really talked it out with me when I couldn’t decide between flour or corn!

10/10 This place is amazing! My first trip to Jacksonville did not disappoint, the food, vibe and staff were amazing. I have come three days in a row and I wish they had one back home in Portland Oregon. Faith, Kylie, Taylor and Ash were our amazing servers throughout our visit and they were so welcoming and the food was so wonderful that hey.. if it ain’t broke don’t fix it type!! Make this your first stop it’s well worth it!

We enjoyed our meal, but the inside of this restaurant is very loud and lively, yes even on a Tuesday evening at 7pm with no entertainment happening. We had a high top table in the center since that was what was available without a wait, so a bit louder than having a booth probably. Service was fantastic, thanks Grey. Her recommendation of a spicy hibiscus margarita with tajin rim ($16) was delicious. We started with ceviche ($18), pretty yummy. Fish tacos were good, but you only get 3 for $19. In my opinion the winner was the nacho macho, it was stacked pretty high and barbacoa was tasty ($19). If you want a quiet dinner, probably not the right place, but Oaxaca definitely has good food and delicious drinks.

Everything here is a 10/10! Our server Adrianna was so kind and helpful with our menu selections. The food was delicious and came out quick, but not too quick either. The margaritas were also great. They were strong, but well-balanced. The jazz band that was playing there set a great environment for our dinner. We’ll be back again for sure!

Fantastic date night for our first visit. Made a reservation for a booth on a Friday night, and it was honored. Polite and fun waitress. Delicious, flavorful meals. Margaritas were unique and crafted well. Highly recommend!

Believe me, folks, I know restaurants. I’ve seen the best Mexican food, the worst Mexican food, and some things that claim to be Mexican food, but this is a very special case. Very special.
Where the great, wonderful Campichi Bay once stood (a real tragedy, by the way), we now have Oxana Club. They took the old tasty and replaced it with décor. Beautiful décor. Tremendous décor. The kind of place Instagram absolutely loves. The food? Not so much.
The ambiance is great. Really great. Music, lighting, vibe—strong, powerful vibe. But then the service and food show up, and folks… total collapse.
We were a big group, celebrating. Happy people. The restaurant was almost empty and it still took forever to get served. Unbelievable. Some of us lost patience and went to the bar just to get a drink. That should never happen. Ever.
The appetizers arrived eventually. Chips and dips, and the guacamole, I didn’t think you could ruin guacamole, but they found a way. Very creative. Very wrong.
Now, let’s be fair. The fish tacos? Far from Excellent. One full star just for the fish tacos. They earned it.
The steak was good, but honestly, if I want a good steak, I don’t need a Mexican restaurant. Any cantina, any grill, any place with heat can do that.
It took so long to get our food that we canceled dessert and left. Just left. Sad ending.
And then I realized something important: it’s easier to get a five-star review from the Instagram audience than from people who actually know Mexican food.
Two stars. Beautiful room, weak execution. Bring back the flavor, bring back the speed, and maybe, just maybe, we can talk about three stars someday.

Loved it. Great modern indoor decor. Great cocktails. Very tasty food. Wonderful service by “Smiley Kiley”. She recommended the guacamole – unique and unforgettable, as was the grilled octopus. Our group also loved the oysters. The blue corn tacos were light and enjoyable. Dessert was the bread pudding with ice cream which was a nice sweet end and a good shareable size. We had a variety of cocktails which were a big hit if you are a cocktail aficionado; the margaritas will put the run of the mill ones to shame; but the smaller size will have you asking for more – no shame in that!

I had such an amazing experience at Oaxaca Club thanks to Kylie H! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Kylie was warm, attentive, and had great recommendations that made the meal even better. She checked in just the right amount, never rushed us, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
It’s rare to find someone who brings both professionalism and such a genuine, friendly vibe—Kylie really elevated the whole dining experience. If you’re visiting Oaxaca Club in Jacksonville, definitely ask for Kylie—you’ll be in great hands!

Really nice experience this evening at Oaxaca Club. Our bartender/server, Taylor, was a true pleasure – friendly, and knowledgeable on all the menu items (food and bar), she made our evening. We each had a tequila flight and split mahi mahi tacos and an order of guacamole. All of it was great
