Make a reservation because the restaurant is usually full. We had a great dinner here. We arrived early so we could enjoy the sunset. Even if you get a dinner reservation for later, you can go to the beach area down from the restaurant and have a drink.

Our party of four started with three appetizers, and each one was a masterpiece—especially the scallops, which were unbelievably good, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The curry was out of this world—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The portion sizes were generous, and the lobster fettuccine was hands-down the best I’ve ever had.
The food alone is worth the visit, but the service took the experience to another level. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, the staff made sure every detail was just right.

What a charmed life we lead. We’re visiting friends who live nearby, and they wanted to share this favourite spot of theirs. We now realize how splendid it is. The food was excellent, the drinks served by friendly and personable staff really make this a place you must visit when in Manzanillo.

It’s a lovely setting and the staff was friendly. I wish we sat up top with the fabulous view. The margaritas and sangria were pretty good. The guacamole looked great but not seasoned at all. Nobody wanted the leftovers. The ceviche seemed like it was precooked, so not really ceviche. My tacos were fine. The meat was seasoned but guac and other toppings were bland. Limes were not offered. Others in our party loved the dumplings and coconut shrimp.

Spent a disappointing Tuesday afternoon at the beach bar. No help in finding a table. People reserve prime tables with towels across chairs. Our very inattentive waiter never informed us of the 2 for 1 happy hour. Once we found out, the Margherita were probably made with cheap tequila. The last 45 minutes, we could not get out waiters attention to order food or drinks or to get our bill. Had to stop at the bar to pay.

This review is based on three experiences at the Oasis Ocean Club. The food is great, and the views are spectacular. Overall, the service is wonderful; one time, it was noticeably less than ideal, but my assumption is that time was an anomaly. Fish Tacos and Shrimp Burger are highly recommended.
