Hubby & I checked out Oasis Diner, it was recommended through tik tok. Being new to the area, we went out to explore and this was the perfect restaurant to end our exploration date with! So much cute nostalgia throughout the restaurant! There’s always something to look at. We started with a starter sampler. It includes friend pickles, fried mushrooms and the pulled pork fries. The fries were simple and straight to the point – tasted good! The fried pickles and mushrooms were some of the best I’ve ever had. Be sure to ask for extra horseradish sauce – it’s a MUST!! My husband got a corned beef hash with a pancake and “mush”. He said the hash was just ‘ok’, & I agreed after the bite I tried. Just could use more seasoning and more corned beef. The mush is just grits that have been formed into discs and deep fried. Served with syrup. Loved the idea of them! But they lacked in all around flavor. Pancake was delish! I got the Indianapolis Country Fried Breakfast with the tenderloin. WOW, it was a lot of food! The tenderloin itself was yummy, crispy and seasoned quite well. Everything else on the plate was a bit lack luster. From the gravy to the hash browns, I heavily salt and peppered each item. The servers were kind and the service was quick! Will be back again! & you should check them out too!

This is now my favorite restaurant ever! My boyfriend and I came here for
Valentine’s Day and it was a unique experience. The place was clean, cozy, and the patty melt with garlic mayo was amazing! The service was great. Our server was very sweet. It is a very small restaurant with limited seating, but it’s a great atmosphere. I definitely will be coming back. Can’t wait to try the pies.

My wife and I went for dinner on Friday night, and enjoyed our meals. My wife ordered the Kansas City – Loaded Biscuits & Gravy meal and enjoyed it immensely. She loved the sausage gravy, enjoyed the crispiness and flavor of the fried potatoes, and how the scrambled eggs were cooked. I ordered the Indianapolis – Country Fried Breakfast, and loved every bite. I wanted something with fried tenderloin, and I was very happy with my choice for dinner. The fried tenderloin had the perfect crisp on it and was very flavorful. Topping it with that sausage gravy took the fried tenderloin to a whole new level. It was that delicious. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked, and the home fries were flavorful and had a nice crunch to the exterior, and a nice soft interior. The pecan pie was chock full of pecans and delicious. My wife liked the pumpkin cheesecake but felt that the flavor of one spice was overpowering the other spices. Our server was very friendly, helpful and attentive.

A local recommended Oasis Diner. It didn’t disappoint. The service was amazing, with an attentive staff who never made me feel rushed. I ordered the chicken noodle soup (basic, but good), the pork tenderloin sandwich (huge, yummy), and sweet cream pie to go. The house made sodas were an added bonus. The mashed potatoes could have been warmer and the pie slice was skimpy, but other than that, a solid meal.

In our quest to find the best breaded tenderloin in Indiana we drove several hours to try this one. It was great and is likely only 2nd to the Dairy Master in Loogootee. The Philly, onion rings, and fries were great too. They make their own soda which is delicious. The service here was outstanding. The restaurant is kept very clean and is easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking in their lot.

Perfect birthday lunch spot! All-day breakfast. Husband loved his fried tenderloin platter—over-medium eggs, crispy hash browns, creamy mash, homemade gravy. I had the huge pork loin burger: crispy light batter, packed with flavor. Boxed leftovers. Everything fresh, made from scratch that day. Retro vibe, spotless, super friendly staff. Five stars—we’ll be back!
We went back today he had the fried catfish with onion rings and I tried the breakfast fried tenderloin. Everything was amazing again.

Good food, fast and friendly service. Seems like it’s always a little busy but that’s to be expected since it’s a great dining experience. Try eating outside if you want a little more space to yourself or if you want to bring your dog along with you. 5 out of 5 recommend. Update, stopped by at 10 am and was still able to get the best dang tenderloin on earth. They serve there entire menu from open to close!!!! 5 ⭐ s
