Passing thru and decided to try this place. The food was good and the servings large. We ordered the short stack, Double Stack burger, Tenderloin sandwich, and chicken and waffles. The vinyl/8-track/cassette tape/CD wall was so cool!

Fun place with very kind staff. Waitresses are extremely friendly and ready to assist. Breakfast served all day. Delicious variety of fresh baked goods like cinnamon rolls, pies, cakes, and cookies all on display.

1st time visit. Love the atmosphere. Great waitress (Alise) friendly, fast service. My friend had Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich (Huge) which she said was very good. I had pancakes with pecans and blueberries inside, eggs and bacon. Mine was very good but only complaint is the bacon and outer edge crust of pancakes had a garlic taste to them. Did not affect bacon too much but was a bit distracting on the pancakes. Have Wonderful looking bake goods but after having pancakes did not try them on this visit. Overall I would recommend and will be back to try lunch or dinner on my next visit. Very reasonable prices too.

I love this rare, nostalgic diner. I especially like to take my grandsons there for a special treat. Breakfast is our favorite but we’ve never been disappointed with any meals. On today’s visit, I found the biscuits a little tasteless by themselves. The cinnamon roll was amazing!

Get the tenderloin. Our waiter, Joe, was fun, funny, and really made the 2 1/2 hour drive there totally worth it. Breakfast served all day. Locally made pies and cakes. Cute, restored to original vintage, diner.

Burgers and the Deluxe Grilled Cheese were excellent. We loved the handcrafted sodas. We had vanilla cola, red cream soda, and butterscotch root beer. Our server, Julian, was friendly, polite, accurate, and patient with all of our questions, since it was our first visit

Passed through Plainfield on our way to Lafayette so I could hit the mall. Found this diner and after reading reviews, decided to eat lunch here!! Let me tell you…BEST DECISION EVER!!! The staff was friendly and the place was decked out in retro decor! Vinyl, 8 tracks, and cassette tapes covered the walls. Shelves were lined with old school lunch boxes, and old TV shows played on a nearby TV! Now for the food…the hubs had a breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. He said they were pretty good, but I think he regretted not ordering what I had, which was the chicken and waffles!!!! Absolutely out of this world!! I really didn’t care for the gravy, but I got a side of butter to go with the syrup and it was fabulous!! The chicken was super yummy, had a great coating on it!! Will definitely be back, but I’ll have a very hard time choosing between the chicken and waffles again or trying the tenderloin, which also looked delicious!! I guess we’ll see!! I definitely recommend this place! It is on the smaller side with limited seating, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait…we didnt(and it was a Saturday), but it’ll be worth it!!

This is a great place to eat. The restaurant is a classic Diner that serves all day breakfast and many other great dishes. A favorite is the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich (An Indiana specialty), I think they have the best in the region. Also get yhe root beer .

Loved this place so much, I had to go back while I was still in Indiana! I adored the classic soda flavor options. The food was amazing! Had to try the sugar cream pie and pork tenderloin sandwich. I’ve never had such tender pork. It was huge too! Everyone in my group raved about how good everything was. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. I hope this stays in the community because it is historic.
