Food was great. Loved the all you can eat aspects and the drinks was awesome. The service was a little slow but it just felt like it’s because they were busy so nothing too long. It helps to be able to join the waitlist early.

Great service, fresh food, but WAY too smoky.

This was mine and my daughter’s first Korean BBQ experience so we had lots of questions. Our server was more than patient and helpful. The Soju was amazing – but be careful when drinking it because we literally could not taste any alcohol. It was that yummy! Also, must try the tofu soup!!

Our server Caitlyn was the best part of the experience. She was extremely helpful, especially when it came to making good suggestions–incredibly helpful when you’re a picky eater!! The food itself was also good, even if you’re not usually into barbecue.

Very cool place. Food choices are good. Was overwhelmed by all the food choices and how quickly the food kept coming out but luckily had some veterans alwho knew what they were doing so I could just sit back and eat. Really good food and cooking it at the table was fun. The place is way bigger on the inside than it looks.

This is our go to Korean BBQ spot. It is located right at the end of Tempe marketplace by kabuki and the Barnes and noble. It’s all you can eat and a set price for each person. There is a propane grill at each table and you choose 4 menu items at a time (and as many side items as you would like). It’s well worth the wait. Bonding while cooking your own food and the ambiance of the restaurant is a huge plus.

We visited Gen Korean BBQ for our son’s 25th birthday. This was his pick of places. It was a Sunday, at lunchtime and was definitely busy. We had about a 20 minute wait. This restaurant is located at Tempe Marketplace so we had seating, outside, for the wait.

Super fun atmosphere and great servers. The food was a little off went I went though. Had a couple different meats and they were all very fatty and chewy despite being cooked properly. I’ll give it a another shot but so far it’s definitely not the best Korean barbecue place in The Valley.

Really great food and atmosphere, this is our new favorite spot to come. We mostly have great service except for the most recent time.

They have a good variety of meat, pork, seafood, and chicken. You can order 3 dishes at the time and you have to order the side dishes also, otherwise they don’t bring it to your table. Lunch is a good deal, but they don’t offer the lunch option on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
