My friend and I went to Oasis today looking for some real Caribbean Cuisine and Oasis did NOT disappoint. Best Haitian food I have ever had outside of my mother’s cooking. Great vibe. Small little restaurant but it feels like home. 12 out of 10. We also met the owner, Ercie (I hope I got her name correctly) and she was a really sweet woman who actually loves what she does. She made sure our food was perfect and kept checking in on us despite her phone ringing nonstop by customers placing their own orders. She also had repeat customers of all races/ethnicities come in while we were there telling us how much they enjoy the food at Oasis as well. It’s a small place so it’s more like take out but you will not be disappointed.

Got plantains for an app and it was good. I liked the sauce they gave us to dip it in. We also got the fried pork with rice and beans and the chicken with rice and beans. Both were seasoned and cooked to enjoyment. The owner came out to see if we enjoyed our meals. They only have a few tables, so you’re likely to get takeout during busy hours. Very casual environment and not for large dine in groups. Will definitely be back.

This is a nice, clean, cozy Caribbean restaurant serving up authentic Haitian cuisine. The owner is passionate about food and likes to cook and serve people. The passion translates great tasting food, to service, atmosphere, and the overall presentation. The food is very tasty and flavorful; everything is prepared fresh everyday.

Tiny storefront with very little seating, they serve delicious Haitian food on a rotating schedule. We loved crispy pork, the fried plantains, and the black rice. Authentic and wonderful!

Great place! They were able to accommodate us to order food before they even opened. When we went over to pick up the food the lady opened extra early and the restaurant was big enough to accommodate two wheelchairs. We ordered the chicken meal and we were asked what we wanted to add to the meal. They were very courteous, with wonderful customer service. Thank you from UCP!

A group of us went there for lunch and it was really good. Not much room to sit down. The ladies were very nice and accommodating. Simple menu which makes choosing what to eat very easy. I’m want to go back again for the fried fish.

I took my family here for the first time based on the recommendation of a friend. I found the saus pois to be thick and savory, the Taso Kabrit was flaky, well seasoned and cooked well. The fried plantains weren’t just tasty but we’re surprisingly light on the stomach. 10/10 my family and I will be back again soon. My friend advised me to call well ahead for the Taso kabrit, it is not a dish served often due to cost. Service is warm, personal and charming. It is a refreshing change of pace after being disappointed at so many other restaurants.

Don’t blink or you will miss this small storefront gem. If you are looking for homemade taste and plentiful portions made authentically, please try Oasis! The menu is small but perfectly balanced. If, like me, you don’t eat Caribbean food often, the proprietor will guide you through the options. Although there are a couple of high top tables, I would recommend take out.
