This is such a gem of a place and a fabulous addition to the Holly Springs food scene. Every single thing on the menu hits home. My favorites are the fish & chips and the steak frites. Good portion sizes and absolutely delicious food. This place has a wonderful air about it – the decor, the ambience – perfect! It’s classy without being pretentious or “there-goes-my-paycheck” expensive. The service is top-notch too! Our server, Aubrey, was polite and attentive and did everything she could to make it a great experience. In a nutshell, do yourself a favor and go try this place out!! You can then me later

A new spot in Apex that really hits the mark.
The space has a modern, open feel that makes it instantly comfortable. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and yet not too big either. Usually places with large menus sacrifice quality for quantity, not this place.

You can tell the sauces are made in-house, which is a big plus. The fish and chips came with generous portions and perfectly flaky fish. The Korean BBQ wings were another highlight with a great balance of sauce and breading.

Overall, it is a fresh addition to Apex’s culinary scene and definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful addition to the Holly Springs food scene. Classy modern city vibe. Large space with drawn curtain for private events. Volumetic space that appears designed to control noise. We sat for a late evening dinner with wonderful food and service. Menu is small, but expected to vary with seasons. Will return.

Love this new place!! Best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, so many great menu items to choose from. We started w the crab cakes & shrimp
Cocktail for appetizers. Then ordered the pork chop and a Reuben sandwich for dinner. And the cocktails were delish! The atmosphere is awesome, service is stellar, food is fabulous, management is marvelous…Go check them out for lunch or dinner!

Went for dinner tonight, the food, service, beverages, and atmosphere were spot on. Absolutely delicious food. The menu is a wonderful but simple comfort food with something for everyone, even butter noodles for the kiddos. The apple fig old fashion was absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was delightful husband says the smash burger was absolutely amazing, he doesn’t have the words to describe it. I had the spare rib bolognese, it was rich with flavor without being heavy. The bread pudding and the donuts were absolute perfection. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Great service, but food was not on par. Cocktails were just not quite there. Portion sizes were all over the place. Pimento cheese was good, but everything else was not a great value for the price.

Great atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious – and the cocktails were perfection. This is a fantastic, upscale-but-comfortable neighborhood spot; don’t miss it!

Pics from our group: crabcakes (no crappy fillers, lump crab with real herbs); pork chop (tender and flavorful); smashed fingerlings (crispy bits and a delicious dipping sauce.)

Stopped by today for their second-ever Sunday brunch.
Pros: Place was incredibly clean. Immaculate. Also pretty easy to get a reservation for a large party, because they’re still so new. Food was very good. We had a party of 6 and all but 1 enjoyed their meal. The hostess and the person who brought our food (I think he was from the kitchen) were lovely.

Cons:
1) Kids menu consists of 2 actual meals and then the 3rd thing is “choose 3 sides”. So definitely not leaning into being a kid-friendly place… which is fine, not everywhere needs to be. The French toast sticks on the children’s menu were mush on the inside (undercooked I guess?). My son asked me why they were filled with cheese, and I checked to confirm it was just egg wash.
2) No beverage menu at all was provided, so we had to guess at breakfasty drinks that they might offer on a cold Sunday. Hot cocoa? No. Orange juice? No. Lemonade? No. Hot tea? No.
3) Absolutely no changes or substitutions are allowed. My husband asked for his egg to be scrambled instead of poached. No. You get poached and that’s it. They explained that this was because the menu is new… so maybe they’re still figuring out how to make everything consistently? Hopefully this changes when they’ve been open a while, you should be able to pick the way you’d like your eggs cooked.
4) Waitress was rude.

I’m giving it 4 stars because ultimately we were there for a good brunch, and we did eat a good brunch. We’d come back after they’ve been open a little longer, to give them another chance.

The food was okay…the short rib had the broccoli’s excess water in the dish (see pic)and it needed au jus. The drinks were good. People seemed to be meeting up and having a good time.

Tried it out for the first time yesterday. Seating was very quick even though we arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation. Atmosphere is nice and decor and tableware are all very attractive. Server and hostess were extremely nice. That’s about all I have to say in terms of the food however is lackluster at best. The appetizers were good but fairly plain definitely more expensive than they were worth. I ordered the steak freits I would advise that you do not the photo you see online is nowhere near what you will actually be served. I ordered it medium as recommended and the steak was so rare it was unheard of and due to how it is served it was not like they could just throw it back on the grill and get it correct. The fries were advertised to be cooked in beef Tallow though they taste of vegetable oil but I will be giving them the benefit of the doubt on that. The salad that was served on the side essentially was some spring mixed tossed in oil and salted from what I could tell. I was able to eat a few bites of the food before it turned my stomach and I just had the rest of it taken to go so that I can maybe attempt to cook it a little more at home and at least get my money’s worth. Overall a beautiful place to sit and talk but if you want to eat I would suggest going somewhere with better food at better prices.
