Oakley’s Texas Bar and Grill was established in 2003 by Mark Hall. It had been Waco’s iconic “Continental Cowboy” for the two decades prior. Stop in for an ice-cold beer, order a drink from our large selection of liquor, or enjoy a glass of wine with something from our menu! Our kitchen is open until 1 AM every night of the week.

Oakleys has the best balls I’ve ever had. Let me explain. Bacon wrapped, brisket + cheese stuffed lil bits of handmade LOCALLY made balls of heaven. I recommend hog balls with my entire chest. 10/10.

Layken is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal. She’s quick, confident, and clearly knows her craft — every drink was perfectly made and came out fast, even when the bar was busy.
What really stands out about Layken is her energy. She keeps the vibe fun and positive while still being professional and on top of everything. She checked on us at the right times, remembered what we were drinking, and made great recommendations.

If you haven’t been to Oakley’s in Waco you missing out, I came in with a friend and will definitely be back the wings are great, Ice cold beer, the atmosphere is perfect after a long day just relaxing, the waitress was Alexis and her conversation, smile and laugh just made the night. We came in to get some food and the place wasn’t that busy, but the bartender Layken was very nice and was really helpful with the menu she was very welcoming which was really nice 🙂 great place and they have a nice dance floor!! I will be back!

I’m so glad to have finally tried Oakley’s food. Friend after friend recommended the food and now I will too! I ordered the fried pork chops, green beans, and macaroni for delivery. It was delivered warm and quickly. The portion size was generous. And the food was yummy!

Great experience! Alexis the bartender was fun and attentive. The wait staff is on top of their game! I had the patty melt and it was delicious! The music is loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. It was a fun time and I look forward to coming in again!
