This place is such a gem! I’m really picky and honestly don’t love many places in the area. They are an old school bakery and everything I’ve had has hit the spot. Bagel sandwiches are good too and so is the coffee! Someone in a recent comment said they have a “new” pastry counter. I’ve been going to place for years and they always had pastries and the quality has remained the same. No affiliation to this place, I’m just passionate about decent food and that’s hard to find when you live in Ringwood.

Well, I stop here a lot if I’m in town getting baked goods for my wife and bagels for the house. Today I got a Taylor ham on a bagel. The Taylor ham was sliced as thin as thin deli ham. Not the way a signature north jersey Taylor ham is presented. So as a result the good flavor was overcooked out and what was left was a salty greasy mess. One half had almost none. I put it all on one half and it was so bad I threw it out. There is only one way to cook it. Thick slices heated on the flat top just until there is a little crisp on the edges. Not burned and paper thin. 8 bucks down the toilet.

While you may anticipate what you think will be in the bag, you instead find these mutants. Is there no trust among bagel bakers to make all their bagels equally stunning?

Service sucks spoke to a teenager over the phone to place an order for pick up. Upon arrival, they couldn’t find my order. The guy told me, I called the wrong number. He asked the teenage girl, if she have the order she says no. Felt like it was rude to say I called a different place while I’ve been calling for so many years and going to the same place. They need to improve customer service and the teenagers need to take more responsibility towards the work
