The venue is very picturesque inside and out, from the wine cellar, bourbon locker to the private dining space with the rock wall. Pretty wall paper surrounds you. This is a great place for a date night with your special person, to a fun evening dining with friends or family. The bar is gorgeous you can also dine at or just enjoy the craft cocktails. Make your reservation now!
Good stuff – the staff is friendly and attentive, the décor and ambiance is very nice, the Garden Bounty (salads) were very good (the Butter Lettuce & Roast Lamb was large enough to be a main course for some), very good Halibut dish ($42), Mac & Cheese ($16)
Needs improvement – corkage fee is $35………ridiculous, especially for Auburn; my $75 NY strip steak was bland and overcooked – I ordered Medium and got Medium well, and it was sliced….why??? This isn’t Peter Lugers in NYC. Entrees served only with garnish items, side dishes are $12-$16 (how about a free scoop of mashed potatoes with the $75 steak?)

A lot of noise in the room where we sat
I saw the menu in December (photo I posted) that had a 28 oz Rib eye for $78 but it was off the menu when we ate there in early January, 2026, replaced by a waygu steak dish (I think it was 28 oz for $128).
Overall, $288 for 4 people before tax & tip………..steaks are overpriced and mine was mediocre at best. I probably won’t come back to the restaurant but will go to the Lounge (downstairs bar, with food; nice ambiance also).
We had a reservation made a week in advance for 7:00 pm. When we walked in, the host was engaged in a conversation with people at the window behind the entrance and ignored us for an extended period before acknowledging us. Once seated, I will say the table and overall atmosphere were stunning. The space is beautiful, though very loud. You could hear each other if you raised your voice.
Our waitress was pleasant, but service was extremely slow. It took about 15 minutes just to receive two Coca Colas and one glass of wine. When it came time to order food, she did not write anything down and had to repeatedly ask and reconfirm our orders.
Food arrived at 8:11 pm. Two out of the seven people in our party did not receive their meals until about 10 minutes later. One ribeye steak, priced at $84, was ordered medium and arrived well done. At that price point, an overcooked steak is unacceptable and it was sent back. Unfortunately, the quality across the table was very poor. Every dish was a 2 out of 10 at best. Nothing we ordered was memorable or something I would choose to eat again. The food was bland and lacked flavor.
Sides were served after most of us had already finished our main dishes. It is also important to note that menu prices reflect only the protein. Sides are an additional $10 to $20 each. The potato purée was rancid. After taking a scoop, the space filled with grease from the butter. The mac and cheese was just okay. The carrots were also fine, but one person in our party never received theirs and it was removed from the bill. Also because it was my mom’s birthday they took off the price of one of her glasses of wine which was very nice.
The biggest issue with this restaurant is the pricing compared to the quality of food and service. The food was genuinely bad. After leaving, we went to another establishment for dessert and shared our experience, only to hear someone else say they had the same experience that same night. While still in the restaurant, we also overheard another table expressing dissatisfaction with their food.
I am usually very forgiving with new restaurants and believe in giving places a chance. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. My only advice would be to significantly reduce prices, at least by half, because the current quality does not come close to justifying the cost.
The total cost of our meal was $625.

The wait staff were attentive and did a great job with our large group.
Feedback from the group the next day was, “when are we going back!”
