From the wide variety of perfectly smoked meats to our gourmet sides and homemade ice cream, biscuits and pies, there’s something for everyone here at OAK’D.

This was an amazing bite to eat. Texas BBQ done right. The guys inside were super friendly and let me tell you, the sure know what they are doing. Delicious 4 meat plate with 2 sides and a texas twinkie to go with it. I left there with a full belly and a smile on my face.

No complaints! The brisket was tender. The sides were good especially the greens. Helpful service, they will give you samples! Good suggestions. I enjoyed my lunch. Def one of the top bbq places in the dfw.

Wow what a great bbq feed. You can smell the smokehouse flavours from down the street – YUM ! The Wagyu brisket and pork ribs were delicious. Not dry, great flavour and the overall size was large and filling. The staff were kind and really made me feel seen – not just another customer in and out the door. They even offered me extra sauces and to try the sides which I thought was not necessary but extremely appreciated. The price was not excessive, $23.99 for 2 meat plate plus 2 sides (I got the red skin potato salad & seasonal veg) I feel it was definitely value for money. I will most definitely be back

We had the governor and the they pulled pork sandwich! That governor is definitely a manly sandwich! I broke my phone. You almost have to unhinged your job to take a bite of this burger! It is simply amazing. You can smell the smoke when you pull up into the parking lot and don’t be afraid to ask for a taste… They will give you a taste of absolutely anything that you would like. The cookies are to die for! They have a pastry shift that cooks every day and I am not a chocolate chip fan, but this cookie was simply amazing. And the molasses Cookie took me back to childhood and my grandmother‘s kitchen!

Honest review
Surprisingly rude customer service.. but good bbq. The wagyu brisket was up there. Mac and cheese was mediocre but the fries were great! Liked the atmosphere. All things considered, 3 stars max.

Came here on a whim and honestly really glad I did. Came here and got the brisket sandwich with some of their sausage. Also got some collard greens, potato salad, cucumber salad, super good. Staff are interested in helping and talking to you, portion sides aren’t too insanely huge and also arent too small. Vibes of the place were nice and was very clean. Would recommend coming here if you wanna have some really good barbecue and sides that feel slightly more modernized if thats your thing

The staff were so friendly and the food was incredible. I cannot believe I’ve lived in Dallas and haven’t been here before. Will def be back soon. Those stuffed jalapeños are phenomenal and so was the governor. Amazing portions too. You’re not going home hungry.

Ordered the 1 beef ribs (it was 2 lbs) and the mac and cheese on the side. The rub on the ribs was peppery (which I like) and the meat was tender and easy to cut through. The mac and cheese was very cheesy. The sauce was a bit too tangy for my taste. I liked that they had jalapeno slices to add a bit of heat.

The food was absolutely bomb.com. It was me and my mom’s first time in Dallas and wanted to try some bbq! It was exactly what we were looking for with a great atmosphere and amazing customer service. Shout out Jaylen who works at the meat counter 🙂

We’re in the process of trying every BBQ restaurant in DFW with 4+ stars. Oak’d has kind of a dive bar atmosphere. The staff was nice, but there’s no table service. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is pretty good. Better than others in the area, but not the best. The brisket was also good. It was tender, good flavor, and a perfect amount of fat but also not the best. Unfortunately, the burnt ends were the worst we’ve ever had. Dense, hard, chewy, and very very dry. The greens were good. The Mac & cheese wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t that good. It was kind of mushy and lacking flavor. The beans weren’t very good. They tasted like a bean chili that dried out. Overall, pretty mediocre food. Not the worst, not the best.
