But the star was the Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes. They came out warm and soft. You get a dozen and they’re dusted with cinnamon sugar and come with Red Hots Cinnamon Candy Icing as well as a butter rum caramel dipping sauce. The Red Hots icing is no joke packing a nice spicy kick.
All in all, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, service was great and really good food. We’ll be back!!
Oak & Stone was an awesome experience, and a huge part of that was our server, Kirsten. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She checked in at just the right times, had great recommendations, and made the whole dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
It’s always nice when great food is paired with great service, and Kirsten definitely delivered. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and kept a great attitude the whole time. If you’re going to Oak & Stone, I definitely hope you get Kirsten as your server — she made the night even better!
Oak & Stone is not your typical pizzeria. It’s a much more modern take by combining a sports bar and a pizzeria to form a rather unique dining experience.
There is seating inside and out with televisions that all can see from every possible angle. There is even cornhole setup outside for those that want to play.
The most unique item of Oak & Stone is their serve yourself beer wall. It is quite amazing to look at (check it out on their website).
I went with my family for Happy Hour. Getting seated was a little on the slow side because their was only one server on staff at the time. Once we were seated everything progressed quickly.
Happy Hour has a $7, $8, & $9 menu. We ordered from all three by ordering the pickle fries, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the cheesesteak egg rolls.
Everything looked great and tasted great (check out my photos).
I will say that the most disappointing part of the whole meal was the cost of the fountain drinks. A Coke and a sweet tea cost $4.25 while a bottle of Coors was $3.75.
I understand that fountain drinks are “unlimited” but a fountain drink should never exceed the price of an alcoholic beverage (discourages potential designated drivers from not drinking something cheaper).
All-in-all I will go back because the food is fantastic. But next time I may just get a water instead of a soda.
