This is a great place to stop and have home made food. Coffee is also great. Make sure you stop in the store too. Everything is fantastic. The soup today was a Garlic white bean tortellini soup with tomatoes and cream. Excellent. I might suggest they don’t put the tortellini in until they serve it though. Low on broth and the tortellini were quite puffed up. I love broth and missed having more. It is a hearty, tasty soup. We all had great sandwiches. I had the Greek wrap and my hubby had the cheese steak. They use real steak….yum!!! If you are in the area… this place is a must stop.

We stumbled on this devine Amish cafe which is also part of a larger grocery and butchers market. Sadly we just missed breakfast but lunch didn’t disappoint! I had the cheesesteak panini cooked to steaming perfection with sumptuous chopped steak, melted cheese and sautéd peppers – just the right amount. My wife had a grilled chicken spinach salad which she enjoyed although too much chicken to finish. Then the highlight was dessert! The Boston cream pie frye was out of this world! Could not be happier with this lunch discovery as we explored Seneca Mill and Falls – about 15 minutes away.

Great breakfast spot with a unique grocery store next door. It got pretty busy during our visit so be prepared to wait. My Seneca breakfast sandwich was delicious. Also, try the Frye pies!

Awesome service, staff always helpful, happy, and smiling! Great food! Winter or Summer a great place to get any day started.
7/26/25: morning sausage and gravy over biscuits. Very good, and Iced Chai Latte with shot of espresso.
1/10/26: A morning drive up the lake to have a delicious couple of Sunrise Breakfast Sandwiches. These sandwiches are made with real care to give plenty of egg to cheese to ham ratio, on perfectly toasted bread with mayo. The Chai Latte with Whippppt Cream is a perfect cold morning drink to warm the day! Always nice to visit Oak Hill, the staff is excellent and a friendly atmosphere for all.

Whenever we visit Penn Yann and need to grab lunch, this is our go-to place for food. We do shop at the store, which is amazing with all their options. This time, we went in for a late lunch before running more errands. Between us, we tried an assortment, and everything was delicious! It’s all made in their little Cafe. I tried the Southwest Salad, which was the special, my wife had the Oven Roasted Chicken Panini, and we grabbed a bowl of Potato & Ham Chowder soup to bring home. The Salad was delicious, with the dressing being just the right amount of spice. The sandwich was perfectly made. The soup was perfect for the chilly day we stopped in. I’ve tried multiple items on the menu and everything is delicious. They have wholesome and healthy options for anyone whose looking for specific dietary needs.

Stopped in for breakfast while camping in Keuka State Park. Amazing fruit smoothies, the raspberry was delicious! Even stopped in again for breakfast the next day for an amazing blueberries and cream latte and French toast for breakfast, as well as a zucchini Panini to go for lunch later in the day. 10/10 Cafe! Great service and lovely atmosphere!
Presentation of dishes is also very pretty, even when you order to-go!
