Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday and Oak + Iron did not disappoint. Calamari, Bruschetta, and Millionaire Bacon were amazing appetizers. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye (please try the smashed potatoes and broccoli) and he ordered the Peruvian Chicken. We had the chocolate chip cast iron cookie with vanilla ice cream on top. We also, indulged in some beautiful mocktails. The country music was so soothing and sexy, made the whole experience tie together, feel special and cement a lasting memory for our life journey. Our server Kristi (hope I am spelling it correctly, if not so sorry) hands down amazing, very attentive, but also gave us time to enjoy our festivities. She was amazing! They closed at 9pm, however, they did not rush us to leave. Honestly, without Oak + Iron, his birthday would have not been as great as it was. Thanks again yall

A friend and I had lunch at this restaurant on a Friday. What a nice find! The food was upper scale but the pricing was remarkably reasonable. My friend had beef tips over potatoes that were tender and delicious. I had the beef steak sandwich with fries and it was juicy and also very tasty. We really enjoyed the experience. Nicely complimented by a glass of wine as well.

The atmosphere is wonderful—inviting and beautifully designed. My service was prompt, attentive, and genuinely warm, making the evening feel special.
The food was the true star. I started with a perfect, fresh bruchetta. The main course stroganoff was rich, tender, and seasoned flawlessly. I had reservations first trying it but it was not a disappointment. To finish, the tiramisu was easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

A perfect spot for date night. Firstly, the staff was friendly and super attentive. The service goes above and beyond and our server was awesome. Second, the food was flavorful and unique for the area. I got the jackfruit Shanghia Stir Fry and the Whipped Feta Bruschetta and my partner got the Wood Grilled Burger. Lastly, this place has some interesting music events including Music Bingo, Open Mic Karaoke Night, and musical performances from varrying artists. The closest thing to a complaint I can muster is the jackfruit could have been cooked longer. But thats just me nitpicking and outside of that, everything else was rather perfect. I would highly recommend this place if you want a more relaxed night out with great food.

I visited shortly after opening and was not impressed (it was ok). UPDATE: weeks later.. outstanding and best meal in the area; hands down !! Cheesesteak sandwich was terrific. Salads were top notch. and how about this .. affordable. Glad to see you guys got it together. IMPRESSIVE. side note – now take the pineapple meat off the menu.. gimmicky and honestly .. weird. A true steak lover will recoil from a flavored meat. The service was clearly inexperienced but they got the job done- no complaints. I’m Definity going back. Oak and Iron…. you got good…. It’s much harder to stay good than to get good. stay on it. and stick around. I will.

10/10 From the excellent service (Matt is the man!) to the delicious, affordable menu (Cocktails, Appetizers, Dinner, dessert… all of the above!) our visits have been the most satisfying dining experience my husband and I have had in a very long time, especially inside our own city limits! The french onion soup is TOP NOTCH and the philly cheesesteak is the best in the midwest! We are recommending Oak + Iron to all of our friends and family, and to all you strangers in Google land!!!
The front of house staff (NaTaya is amazing!) deserves a special shout out as well for their professionalism and warmth as soon as you walk in the door. The atmosphere is high class casual, with gorgeous architecture and nostalgic Jacksonian art decor. It makes you feel right at home.
