Absolutely delicious smoked meats and consistently excellent food. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, and the goat cheese salad is a standout favorite.

They are also incredibly accommodating with dietary needs, which I truly appreciate. It’s clear that care is taken not only with the quality and flavor of the food, but with the overall experience as well.

A great spot for high-quality smoked meats and thoughtful service. Highly recommend.

Decent food and good sized portions but these people need to discover salt and pepper. Criminally under flavored. And their sauce is too sickening sweet. Wasn’t the biggest fan. But staff were nice and it’s a decent atmosphere.

We have eaten here a few other times so I’ll give a cumulative review. I do love the menu. Every time we’ve eaten here the food is very tasty. Their cornbread is delicious! Atmosphere is rustic and tavern feel. I like it. The reason I’m giving a 4 is yesterday. We had to wait longer than 20 minutes for our food and when it finally arrived my husband’s steak was overcooked and my sweet potato fries were cold. We still ate it and it tastes good. The manager was very accommodating by offering to comp part of our bill and gave us a gift card for a future return visit. So, they really care about their customer’s experience and we did appreciate it. I still recommend eating here.

Really wanted to like this place but was very disappointed.

Our waitress was amazing but the food was lacking. Our nachos are just cheese and chunky bbq sauce. Was supposed to come with cilantro and sour cream but didn’t. Did the 2 meat platter and it was fairly okay meat covered in said chunky bbq sauce. The water tasted funny. Cornbread crumbled as soon as you picked it up. Nothing really great about it.

So the first time I went, I went with my sister and my wife. The food was good, and great service as well. I decided to go a second time for my wife’s birthday since she liked it the first time. We went with 20 people. Now I understand how food services work and being a waitress is stress but the food was horrible, service was ok, wait times were long. First food. My sister in law order 2 spicy margaritas that was $13 and they were charging her $15 for those margaritas. Second they were running out of food left and right. Didn’t have fries or even chicken wings. Nothing was being communicated. Food was being sent out without even being asked if we wanted to substitute anything. Briskets was dry and grits were nasty looked like mash potatoes and had no flavor. We were charged $1 for onion rings because they ran out of fries. We should not be getting charged for something that you guys don’t have that is not our fault that you guys ran out. My aunts wings were cold when they came out. I would have love if everyone food came out all at the same time as well. People were eating while some people were waiting on there food agitated. I think collectively our food took about 2 hours to come out. Got there at 6:30 and didn’t leave until 9. Also The energy was un wanting as a lot of my guest described. It was honestly an embarrassment for me because I’m a food reviewer and promoter and my family usually trust me to pick the good food. I was getting ready to post how oaks and embers was and do a video about it, but I couldn’t even do that because of the bad service, cold food, and us being gas light about our prices of our food. If the menu prices are wrong someone needs to update it. I will definitely not being going back.

When we arrived we were seated immediately the owner just happened to be hosting and she was amazingly warm and friendly. We ordered our drinks and we had Two wonderful servers Maria and Meredith. Meredith was in training, although you wouldn’t have known that if they weren’t together. Both server’s were more than capable and attentive. The restaurant was CLEAN! which is unusual nowadays. I always notice cleanliness due to my background in the industry.

It was a pleasure, clean, comfortable atmosphere and great service. The food was delicious and plentiful. We will be back!!!

We love going to Oak and Embers for family dinner night. From the moment we walk in the door, the staff always makes us feel so welcome. We are a family of 4 with two little ones and the wait staff are so kind to the kids and making sure we have everything we need. The food is delicious (we love the nachos and meatloaf), and they always bring the kids food out as soon as it’s done so they are not waiting. The portion sizes are huge, so we always have leftovers to take home for another meal.
The owner Gina is extremely hands on and very attentive. Becca, Anna, and Heather are all amazing and we love to see them when they are working!

The ribs were crazy expensive. $43 for a full rack. That being said, everything was very good. Good portions and quality. The nacho toppings were plentiful.
