Excellent local sushi place. Their salmon sushi is the best around and their presentation is top notch. We ordered takeout this time and it was arranged perfectly and tasted fresh as always!

Honestly, probably some of the better sushi in Simi valley, and decently priced. They had very fresh and delicious fish, of which the scallop was something special. All that being said, they went wild on wasabi for the nigiri sushi we ordered. They also added a bit too much ponzu at times and also a little messy with the rock salt. Mixed feelings, but overall the sushi was so much better than some of the other places I’ve been to in Simi. I am very critical of my sushi, so take my words for what they’re worth.

Excellent food and service. I liked the fresh greens in the salad. My salmon was nicely cooked and my husband enjoyed his scallop dish. We ordered a few pieces of sushi and they were very tasty & well prepared!

I used to really like this restaurant. But their service and business practice have declined recently. We were given a menu by the waitress/owner. She told the 3 of us that the menu is 4 years old and the price is $1-$2 more. (Is it really that hard to update the menu?)
When we get our check, the prices were $2 more per order compared to their menu and it also auto included a 18% tips.
I gave them my credit card and they came back with the receipt that included everything in total and ask for more tips.
Honestly 18% tips is pretty decent but the way they charge customer without telling them they will be charge and have been charged is very sneaky.
At first I thought they were just lazy about not updating or printing new menus. But after the whole experience I think they purposely not update their menu and tips policy to collect more.

Great service! Very nice and helpful. They are always eager to help. The sushi chefs are friendly and love interacting with anyone and everyone. They make AMAZING sushi. In fact probably the best you’ll find. Even been to restaurants by the sea and still not as good as this restaurant. If you talk to the waitresses or waiters they will definitely be chill and chat with you while still doing their job. Wish i could rate even higher!!! Love love love this place and the sushi/food!!!

I want to love this place I really do. I have gone here multiple times and in the beginning everything was great. I also didn’t inspect my sushi rather shoved it in my mouth without checking anything. But for some reason I noticed my baked sushi was partially raw in some of the rolls . . . I am pregnant and breastfeeding, I know sushi is a tricky thing during pregnancy so I’m putting my trust in this place but I might no longer be able to .. I got raw parts to my salmon 2 times but because the sushi was pretty good and close to home I didn’t make a big deal out of it I just ordered it a different way to help this not happen. Well tonight I ordered it thinking everything would be perfect I just wanted smaller pieces of salmon on top so they would Cook all the way well I open my Togo box and the salmon is chard , burned to a crisp … I was like ok at least I’ll be eating cooked salmon… Well that wasn’t the case even with this burnt salmon I’m trooping through to eat there’s parts that are raw still I’m so sad .. going to look for a new sushi place for my next order. I have photos but it’s not allowing me to add them here .if I figure it out I’ll try posting them
