Food is good. Let’s start there. We’ve ordered the vegetarian sushi options from here several times and they have been good. But really the service is non-existent. Also the location is very shady. The inside is cold with the waiters and cooks wearing jackets cause there’s no heater. Good thing is that they cook right in front of you.

At first glance, there was nothing special going on. The decor was clean, simple and casual. It was also more expensive, especially for a Van Nuys location. But the servings had good size and freshness,(melt in your mouth)not to mention chefy garnishes here and there. I was also pleasantly surprised when they had my coveted favorite, Sea Urchin!

Discovered this gem driving down the boulevard and so glad I stopped in! The food was exceptional, the presentation was also superb and the service was delightful! I been looking for a great sushi spot, this is my new go-to-sushi joint! I went here with a friend for Lunch today. On a recommendation. The restaurant was nice and very clean! I hadn’t realized it, but it’s under new ownership and new name Oisuno Sushi.
But the wait staff was great. Very nice and attentive. We did have to wait a bit for our food but not overly so. Apparently they make everything fresh and to order. Which made the great. I really enjoyed eating here

Their fish is high quality and I thought the rolls were perfect for sharing.

This place is absolutely amazing! I rarely write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this one. My son and I absolutely loved it here. Everything was perfect—the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience! The complimentary cucumber salad and miso soup were such a delightful touch. This is officially my go-to sushi spot from now on. Highly recommend it to everyone!
