This place is nice, but has some insignificant drawbacks. First, it is very loud inside, when many groups are dining because the room is tiny, and the tables are packed closer together. Second, our waitress wasn’t very friendly and attentive, but she was busy, since the place was full. The atmosphere overall is welcoming. The food was pretty good. One issue is that the cup of tea was only half-full. Another is that crispy rice sushi are way too spicy in our opinion. Tamago sushi were delicious, so were the blue crab rolls, but they resembled California roll too much. Udon soups were fantastic and very balanced. The food is brought very quickly, even though there were a lot of people.

We have been patrons of this establishment for many years and it has been a favorite primarily for the locals, which I am. Unfortunately service and quality have lately not been as good as in the past. Our teriyaki chicken was decidedly rubbery, not having been prepared fresh but seemingly rewarmed. The server forgot to bring the rice and the tempura dipping sauce having awkwardly to flag down and ask someone for it. With the salads it appears that the quantity of dressing is skimpily provided. Also in recent times we felt that the server was not that particularly friendly to a degree that we start feeling uncomfortable. We still like O-Sho Restaurant and hope to have again better dining experiences. The local patrons are loyal, supported this restaurant throughout the hardship of the Covid-19 pandemic, the owners and staff should appreciate this.

The meat (teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken) was rubbery, clearly prepared in advance, rice was not served, had to ask twice for it, also the sauce for the tempura was not served for which we had to awkwardly ask as well. On the small side salads that come with the meals, they seem to be a bit skimpy with the dressing and it is not the first time. The waitress appeared to be annoyed, then to top it all off we were rushed, i.e. the tab given before we even finished. This used to be a great place, but seems it is going downhill.

O-sho is a wonderful restaurant, we have been going there for at least 20 years, easy going and great food, a while back the original owner sold. The new owner has also kept up the place in terms of food and services.sushi is fresh and the cooked food is also very good, I think they the best miso soup ever. I have tried many and nothing comes close

Fantastic find. It was just across from our hotel so it was easy. Service was great and friendly and the food came very fast. Large portions for the price that we didn’t expect! Definitely recommend

Came in here for a quick lunch and had the 2 items for $11 lunch special. I chose the spicy salmon roll and the tuna roll. At first glance at the lunch menu, I was surprised to see that there is no salmon roll listed anywhere. I also ordered a separate salmon hand roll which was not listed under the handrolls section in the menu. The server I had was really nice and said the chef can make it for me, for the same price.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful community restaurant. You know the place where the locals hang out. It is run by a wonderful family and the quality and freshness of the food is authentic and consistently very good. From the edamame to the combo meals, sushi, appetizers and salads. Everything is prepared nicely and with vibrant flavor.

Great spot for a good meal that isn’t super expensive. I order takeout from here once a week for my job and it never fails to satisfy us.
