We we’re walking down the street and decided to eat lunch for the first time here. I had the chicken teriyaki and my gf had the salmon poke bowl. The chicken was surprisingly good, nice char on the outside with a juicy center. The teriyaki sauce drizzled on top was a perfect flavor. And I did enjoy having the rice served on the side versus being under the teriyaki sauce. My gf said her poke bowl was delicious and very filling. We’ll definitely come back again soon.

I’m not a sushi/sashimi/nigiri guy, but the rest of the menu is great for me. Neighbors who go for raw fish say Omaki is very good. Chicken teriyaki especially, though gyoza is also excellent as are veggie rolls and karaage. Portions are generous, and super fresh. Lots of unusual Japanese beverages as well, both soft and hard. Prices are mid range for North Seattle. Count on $20+ for a meal (entree + appetizer, more with a drink)

Such a cute spot for a quick meal! The service is always very fast even when the restaurant is full. The lady who operates the cash register is very welcoming and is available to answer any questions about the menu. With it getting colder outside, I find myself craving curry and warm teriyaki. My co workers all rave about their sushi rolls as well!

First time order by delivery. The food was truly exceptional and raises the term “best” as an absolute and a relative measure. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious and spicy as advertised. The chicken was beyond belief great: blended spicy with sweet teriyaki. The fresh veggies were in an incredible sauce of sweet and spicy heaven. The portions were enough for 2 meals. It’ll be a challenge not to reorder O Maki every week!

An excellent and refreshing little place to get sushi. I had the salmon poke bowl and I was very pleased- the quality of fish was very good (super fresh) and they didn’t load the bowl with a bunch of extra, cheap ingredients. The majority of the bowl was a good heap of salmon, and the other ingredients were fresh and tasted great. I have walked past this place many times and I’m glad I stopped in today. This will be a regular for me!

I really liked this spot. We ordered the takoyaki, ultimate, and omaki. I thought the accessibility to this place was pretty easy, staff was super nice, and turnaround time to get the order was pretty fast. I think they’ve got a great idea and business model… quality sushi that is fast casual. The only complaint I have is that I think they are slightly off in their pricing. Each roll was about $15, which to me are restaurant pricing. Even for those prices, I’m not going to go get that casually. If it’s convenient and I’m in the area, I’ll probably come back, but with the price per roll how it is, I don’t think id go out of my way to spend more than $13/roll. That said, I think it’s worth stopping in and trying.

Wow I will absolutely never be coming back, I watched them take the gyoza out of a frozen bag burn then and And they charged me $10 for them. Awful. The worst part is my Katsu curry was served and the curry is chunky and was ice cold. I told them it was cold and they put my entire plate in the microwave. I am astonished that they would put fried chicken Katsu in a microwave and the rice as well. Everything was awful it was chewy over cooked 10/10 don’t recommend this place.
I complained and asked for a refund as the food was inedible and they still charged me for the gyoza unbelievable

O Maki is a quick style sushi and teriyaki restaurant located in the middle of Greenwood. Lots of parking down the side road in front of the store, and a good amount of seating inside. They make their hot plates fresh, so it’ll take about 10 minutes. Same goes with their rolls as they will make them right in front of you. Some places botch the rice, theirs is great. Their spicy teriyaki and orange chicken are delicious. They always have specials on the board to the left as you walk in, so check that out. The staff here are extremely nice and are happy to recommend dishes to your liking. Would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for Japanese food.

We are big fans of O Maki. Found it by chance when we first moved to Seattle, and its earned a place in our regular rotation. The kids love their basic rolls, and we love their chicken teriyaki and salmon poke bowls. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the quality is impressive. The prices aren’t pretentious, either.
