Tje pizza is absolutely fantastic. Great beer selection for a pizza parlor. The only reason for the markdown on the service was the long wait time for food after ordering. This was due to a high amount of pizzas being ordered online.

The pizza is good, different than most places in town. There’s room for improvement, especially with the price. Two medium pizzas will run you $40 easy, no sides, no drinks, just 2 medium pizzas.
They have a dedicated app that is easy to use and works well. If you use Door Dash instead, pay attention. Door Dash is cheaper by about a dollar a pizza (odd) however, you have to pay close attention or your order won’t be correct. On DD, for example, if you try to order a Mediterranean pizza, it defaults to the New Mexican pizza (on DD app).
I recommend this place if you’re looking for good pizza and a good beer. It shines when you dine in not when you order out. The staff are great and very friendly. Beautiful waitresses, handsome waiters, smiles and laughter all around. I enjoy eating at the bar and find NYP to be a cool little hang-out when I want to chil solo or with a friend or two.
Parking sucks. But if you park in back, there’s always a space. It’s important to mention that NYP is moving to a new construction location across the street that is sure to be a hit and improvement.
Overall, this place deserves a solid 4/5. I eat pizza from here about 1 out of every 3-4 times I have pizza. If it were less cost or more food for the money, I’d eat pizza from here more often. But with Dion’s and all the other pizza places in town, NYP isn’t as strong a competitor as others for price, quality, atmosphere, and ease. It hits hard in some categories but not in others.

This isn’t really New York style pizza. The size large here is super small (like personal size almost) and the taste isn’t great. It took about 40 minutes for them to make the most mediocre pizza. You’re better off going to Valley Pizza where you get more bang for your buck.

I’m not sure why this place is never consistent? Sometimes you get an amazing pizza, then most of the time it’s terrible. Why? I guess I have to order a XXL pizza just so it is good? Any other time, it’s not. Tonight, instead of them cooking and sending me the pizza I ordered, they sent me an old pizza that had been sitting there all night. I’m not even sure if you want to consider it a pizza, or rather, a hard crust with burnt cheese on top. It was so overcooked from sitting there all day, that there wasn’t even sauce on it. Since the pizza was hard as a rock, we weren’t able to eat it.Hopefully, they will do the right thing and make us another pizza when I return it tomorrow.
I want to add, I REALLY hope there wasn’t a manager or Owner there when this pizza went out….

I also ordered garlic knots and they were still doughy/undercooked, which I actually don’t mind because I like them that way. I’d rather them be under baked , than over baked. I just had to put them in the oven for a little while.

What a little gem. Not a huge place but great things come in small packages.
Warm, welcoming, inviting, friendly staff. Made us feel like regulars! Pizza was amazing! Fresh and delicious. Price was good too. Happy Hour 4pm to 6pm.

This place was recommend to us. So we decided to have lunch the other day at this restaurant. The waitress was very nice and professional. We ordered the meatballs and bread sticks. These absolutely the best meatballs and bread stick. We can’t wait to go back and try the pizza. I hear the pizza absolutely delicious.

I’ve been coming here for years. The bartender Paul is a diva and ruins the show. Stay away when this diva is working. It’s sad, he ruins this spot. He acts as if he owns the place and doesn’t care about the customers, unless you are his friend that he feeds free beers to. I always tip everyone well and am very polite. I love this place and dislike this guy terribly. He is a disgruntled teacher with a 2nd job he dislikes.
