Decided to check this place out last night for trivia, and it was an awesome experience! Trivia was a blast, the food and drinks arrived quickly, our bacon pizza was soooo delicious, and the banana peanut butter dessert was heavenly. The manager Josh was super friendly and came over to chat with us, and our server Addie was so attentive and sweet. Actually, all the staff was fabulous!

Be warned that the parking lot can be a bit nuts (this place is between Menchies and Cava, and they all share very few spaces), and they don’t serve gluten-free pizza—but their GF salads are a great alternative, and the atmosphere and staff are amazing, so we’ll definitely be back!!

I requested my vegetables to be well done from a wonderful waitress. This is because the I am usually asked this question but made a request this one occassion for my pizza order instead of waiting to be asked. Instead they burnt the crust bottom and did not offer to redo the pizza. The general manager came to my table and asked me what was “the issue.” The General Manger then said no one (at his establishment) ever asks this. I told him I had made this request in prior visits and the request fulfilled. He insinuated I lied. Then he spoke for ALL pizza restaurants in Atlanta and said no one does cooks their vegetables. And started naming Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Domino’s, and some other local pizza restaurants claiming they provide slightly cooked food too.

Yeah, I know…

So I said,”Well those are the ones you are familiar with”, and he contradicted me multiple times to emphasize no pizza restaurant cooks vegetables. Service at its worst from the General Manager. Then after eating 2 slices they come and try to collect payment. Poor customer service.

FYI There are restaurants that do have a cooking process that ensures all toppings are cooked evenly and well done including the vegetables. You don’t belittle or insinuate the customer is a liar or eating pizza for the first time unless you are told such.

Come for happy hour and the beer selection: surprisingly good for a little pizza place. More notably, they understand the value of keeping their beer cold.

The pizza itself is on the high end of mediocre. It’s definitely better than your Pizza Hut, Marcos, Dominos tier, but it falls a bit short of the next tier up–places like Mellow Mushroom, Fellini’s, or Blue Moon.

If it’s been years since you’ve had “New York Style” pizza, this may scratch the itch, but it isn’t quite there, either. The slices are definitely big and foldable, but the dough doesn’t quite hit the mark, and the toppings don’t stay adhered as well as they should. Possibly the pizzas aren’t getting enough reflected heat from the top of the oven.

The service is absolutely top notch for this level of dining. The servers are available, but not overbearing. They check back in at reasonable intervals and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. The restaurant itself is clean and well-lit.

The pizza is delicious. Imagine having so many pepperonis on a single slice that you almost consider not eating it… almost. The flavors are great and the prices are, too. Everyone was friendly and our server smiled as the mozzarella cheese pull from my bite stretched almost arms length. If I lived closer, I’d be here every week. Try it!

I’m from Long Island, and this is truly good pizza. It is at least one of my favorites in this area and I think is my actual, singular favorite. (Need to go a few more times to be sure.) I’ve met many staff members, and every single one has been more than nice and polite. I like their daily specials. Also, their every day lunch specials make a great lunch as inexpensive as fast food.

NYC Pizza Company delivers truly delicious pizza. The light crust, fantastic tomato sauce, and fresh ingredients create a very satisfying pie, and I’ve experienced consistently excellent food quality across two visits. My initial takeout was great, with top-notch service from an older gentleman at the counter – the kind of seasoned pro who clearly knows his stuff!

The dine-in atmosphere is enjoyable with a great vibe and a clean, open kitchen, and the draft Peroni is a refreshing touch. However, there’s a clear opportunity for improvement in service (our waitress seemed more focused on her phone) and management (the TV was oddly stuck on local news when sports would have been preferred).

While it’s a solid spot for the suburbs, expanding the menu to include more traditional Italian dishes like Chicken Marsala and Veal Parmesan. Also, adding a bar area would significantly elevate the overall experience, especially for those waiting on to-go orders.

Best NY-style pizza around. No gimmicks: just quality ingredients and a deliciously savory crust. I’ve tried all their varieties; my favorite is the meat lover’s followed by the bianca. I was a Hawaiian-pizza hater until I tried their version with smaller pineapple chunks and quality ham. For a memorable dining experience, ask for Ms. Diana.

We were looking for a different place to order pizza from after I had enough of Dominoes for a lifetime. This place did not disappoint and even my very picky teenager, who is the reason we have been stuck in a Dominoes rut, loved it. It’s our go to pizza joint now and worth leaving our house and fighting the traffic of the newly opened gym to pick up. The people who work there are always quick and kind when you go inside. I’m not a pizza connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but I do know good food and this place is it whether you need a salad or a pizza.

Our 8 year quest for GOOD NYC style pizza has ended here! Wahoo!
I grew up in CT, right outside the city(NYC) and we always had killer pizza (famous Pepe’s!!).
We’ve tried a lot of the usual pizza joints here and we just haven’t found the one that really does it for us. But let me tell ya NYC Pizza Co gets it perfectly. The great friendly service, the vibe and the food… check, check and check! The sauce alone is insanely good… it could stand on its own. I wish they sold it in jars. I’d love to take some home.
Today we had the char and cup pepperoni w/ ricotta and hot honey. Holy canoli was it delicious. Such a unique combo. I’m already looking forward to the left overs for dinner.
Even though it’s a 22 minute drive for us… it’s absolutely worth it! So yeah, 2 thumbs up!

PS – I think Portnoy needs to pay you guys a visit!! 🙂
