We had a great early dinner at NYC Meatballs & Pizzeria in St. Augustine, made even better by our server, Ava, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely delightful from start to finish.
We started with mozzarella sticks, salad, and bread, all fresh and satisfying. For our entrées, we tried a little bit of everything:
– The Lasagna, which was HUGE and easily enough to feed two people.
– A Meatlovers Calzone, packed and flavorful. The marinara sauce that came with it was really good too!!!
– A build‑your‑own pizza topped with meatballs, tomatoes, spinach, garlic, and pineapple, which was also delicious.
We wrapped up the meal with a classic Tiramisu, a great finish to an already enjoyable dinner.
The decor of this restaurant really surprised me. It had trees, wine bottles, and a warm, inviting layout that gives the place a unique charm.
Ava was outstanding the entire afternoon. Very polite, great energy, and the kind of service that really made the dinner enjoyable.
Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the St. Augustine area.

Kriscinda was the best, very kind. Didn’t crowd us but was she on top of everything. Huge portion and it was all delicious, we tried the ziti and chicken carbonara and it was incredible. Loved the new spot

Absolutely a great and welcome new Italian restaurant that took the place of a really terrible one! The food and service is top notch. Looking forward to eating here for years to come!

Stopped in for some lunch while there were few appetizing options in the area which was surprising. Pulling up to the small strip mall front our expectations were moderate. The blacked out windows were not inviting. However, when we entered, we were like “oh!” It was nice! A very attractive bar and high bistro table area. We were greeted nicely and ushered to the main dining area which was also decorated very tastefully and attractively. Our waiter Mackenzie was demure but very sweet and nice and showed great attention and hospitality. The food turned out was great! The fried ravioli and marinara sauce was nice and few bruschetta salad was just right for what we needed and very tasty. My wife’s Bronx drink was great! We talked with the managers and gave some advice about doing a sharp window graphic that depicted the interior decor. Recommend going!

My wife and I just had dinner there to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The restaurant has a very nice Italian ambience. Our meals were delicious. My wife had the chicken parmesan and I had the spaghetti Bolognese. The portions were plentiful to say the least. The meal started with focaccia bread with olive oil and garlic. Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese and now we are talking. Our experience was enhanced by our server Ava. She was very pleasant and attentive. The GM Johnie checked on us and had several recommendations for our next visit. Kudos to the kitchen staff for providing us with wonderful meals. Highly recommend to any and all! Already looking forward to our next visit!

Locals have been asking for a new restaurant in this area. Especially an Italian restaurant. NYC Meatballs & Pizzaria did not disappoint! This place is like something out of a movie. Great location and wonderful staff. From the time you enter the door greeted by the host & wonderful bartenders. To your server. We had Mack tonight and she was absolutely great! So kind and patient. We look forward to coming back and requesting her. Definitely reccomend the restaurant 10/10!!

First time and was hopeful after recommendation from neighbor but just wasn’t for us. We tried a little of everything. Fettuccine Alfredo (not pictured) was fine but would like more sauce. Garlic knots were really oily and tasted like scones to me. Meatballs were the biggest disappointment since it’s first in their name. They didn’t have flavor other than the sauce dumped on them and they were too soft. Supreme pizza I appreciated the big veggies and it tasted ok. SoHo pizza wasn’t for us and prefer mozzarella so it was more like flatbread.

From the moment we walked in, this place knocked it out of the park. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food absolutely delivered. My kids usually turn their noses up at New York–style pizza, but here they devoured every slice — which honestly says everything.
We stuck with pizza and salads, and both were excellent: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. As plates passed by our table, the other dishes looked just as incredible, so we already know we’ll be back to explore the rest of the menu.
What really elevated the experience was the service. Kriscinda was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome without ever being overbearing. It’s rare to find service that polished and natural at the same time.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. An easy 5-star recommendation.
