Reviews
First of all, let me start off by saying that I will give great ratings when great ratings are due.
I don’t just rate solely on the food or my taste buds or my preferences. It’s always about the quality and standard of the whole experience. You will get a rating as for your customer service, the ambience, aesthetics, and food.
I started going to this place in 2021 slowly but surely their customer service their food quality and their integrity has gone down greatly.
Posted is a picture of what it supposed to be bagel, tomato spinach, onion, cream, cheese with egg white.
What you see instead is a picture of a blubbering oily mess?
When I called to ask for a refund and explained to them, I do not live on this side of town any longer because I moved and told them that they didn’t put spinach and tomato on bagel and it was covered in oil and grease. If you continue looking, there’s a picture of the napkin that I used to soak up all the oil that was surrounded on my bagel and it still was some leftover as you can see.
The manager proceeds to tell me the spinach and tomato was inside the egg .
He then tells me he won’t refund me because this is a preference versus an error on their end.
I’ve been to a lot of food places in my life five star dining all the way down to fast food .
He said some people like their bagels oily I have not been to one bagel place in New York, Baltimore, Virginia, Florida, Georgia or any other places in between to where you going to a bagel place and it is slammed in oil!
Furthermore, I didn’t ask for an omelette if I wanted an omelette, I would’ve asked for an omelette.
Also, as you could see from the picture, there’s hardly any spinach or tomato even inside the egg that he claims they put into it
I will advise anyone to come at your own discretion and double check your food before they make it and charge.
Make sure the woman at the register the manager and the cooks know exactly what you’re asking for because they take it into their own hands to make it, however they wanna make it even when you tell them what EXACTLY what you want .
If you have the time to your BETTER off, going ELSE WHERE or just making your own bagel at home.
This was a waste of a $10 bagel. This was a $10 bagel if not, 12 or 14 you could go to McDonald’s and eat food and have better looking and tasting than what this was.
Straight into the garage or a person who’s more in need than I this will go.
I just tried this place for the first time and all I can say is WOW, and not in a good way! As someone who grew up in New York and has had their fair share of good bagels over the last 51 years, I can unequivocally say that this place is pure trash, both from the food and the management!
I ordered my go-to I get in any bagel shop, a ham, egg and cheese on a toasted onion bagel. With tax it was just under $10.
In looking at the menu while waiting, I noticed they have a bagel egg and cheese sandwich with your choice of meat including a drink for $6.99.
I asked her why my sandwich only was so much more and she said because I got a “special bagel” and that costs more. I never knew that an onion bagel was considered a special bagel….pretty standard bagel choice in every bagel shop I’ve even been in. It’s funny because on their menu, a single bagel or your choice is $1.99, no mention of any special bagels costing more. This is absolute nonsense and will not help their business. So it’s $4.00 then for a single “special bagel” which on there bagel display has the word “new” next to the name of the bagel, which designates that it’s a special bagel costing more.
On to the the bagel which was pure trash as well! I The consistency of the bagel was soft and mushy like they put it in a steamer or microwave…just yuck!
There was one single piece of ham that was nasty as well!
Save your money and stay away from this place…trust me! Drive a little further and go to Bagel Boys or the rebranded Bronx Bagels!
