I went with my husband and inlaws for lunch. They were gluten free friendly, which was great. We ordered 3 chicken paninis one that had gluten free bread and it all was cooked to perfection. My husband loved his burger. The fries were hand cut and delicious. Everyone had an excellent experience and great lunch and the staff were very friendly. Also there was a table and a candle which was designated to pay respects to the Oct. 25th tragedy. There is a gift shop in the back with a lot of things you can buy from coffee mugs to treats. We purchased a couple love always wins signs which means a lot to our family. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place as a go to lunch spot.

I stopped in about 6:10 am Saturday morning at the new location for a cappuccino. Good cappuccino but even better was the chat with the owner. Friendly mom and pop business and the space is clean and well renovated. The wood floors, tin ceiling and big windows make this a comfortable place to hang out and enjoy the food and drinks.

Staff was very friendly. It was easy to order and do the self serve coffee. I wish there was some music to help me wake up! Food was bland and very under seasoned. Large portions but I would prefer a smaller, well seasoned portions. Also no toast choice. I wish the tea was not Walmart tea. Coffee was hot but they only had Walmart half and half, but no other options like milk. There was ample seating and I loved that there was seating outdoors. This business has a lot of potential and I’m excited to try again soon!

My mother and I went for lunch. It was my first time trying this place my mother recommended since she had been already with a friend.

The menu looks simple with enough variety. We had sandwiches and French fries. The food was good and well prepared.

The place is clean and was decorated with a mix of Christmas-winter-valentines. Very cozy and chill vibe.

The friendliness of the staff was great and I would say better than the average for this type of establishment going out of their way in making sure that our experience was what we were expecting.

The story here is, my mother usually orders a water with lemon when she is out to eat. They didn’t have lemons so she chose something else. Apparently the owner overhearing the conversation immediately ordered lemons to be delivered from Walmart. The delivery showed up while we were in the middle of our lunch and soon the wait staff was at our table offering to provide a water with lemon. So my mother was able to have her water with lemon after all.

After our lunch we decided to check out Nutty Netties gift store attached just off to the side of the dining area through a hallway. There they offer a variety of things including wall art, printed T shirts, 3D printed novelties, themed gnome figures, chocolate confections and more. While we were browsing the owner asked if we were finding anything that we couldn’t live without and so upon discovering that he and his wife were the owners of the establishment we had a delightful conversation about some of their journey to being in business such as they are currently. Turns out that the wife is the confectioner turning out her brand of formed chocolates and other goodies.
Other items available in the store are from other local small vendors who are able to market their wares in this space similar to the way that Netties got their start.

There was also opportunity to donate towards a local outreach organization helping with underprivileged and homeless teens in Androscoggin county, the “Store Next Door”, by buying a bell that appears to be 3D printed and contains a battery operated tea light. All sales of these goes directly to the effort of the Store Next Door. This promotion maybe a holdover from the holiday season so I’m not sure if or when it ends or maybe transitions into something else. One of the staff there seems to be personally involved with the project and was very well acquainted with it sharing many details.

The attitude of these people working at being an active part of the community doing what they can for others is a refreshing and very much needed way of living and being an example to those growing up into today’s society.

This is a place that I will continue to support with my patronage and praise for their example of doing their best in the place where we all are. I encourage you to do the same.

This was one of the most relaxed and friendly places that I’ve been to in a long time. My date and I were there for 3 hours and only bought coffee and a muffin, but there was no pressure or any sort of bad vibes. Highly recommend getting your muffin grilled! It was awesome!!

Went on an early Sunday afternoon to an almost fully empty restaurant, the group ordered a salad, chicken panini, and gf Reuben for takeout. After waiting 25 minutes we were informed that they were out of gluten free bread and corned beef. We changed the order to a Turkey club on a gluten free wrap, specifically asking for no fries due to celiac-based cross-contamination issues.

At the forty-five minute mark, our two sandwiches and salad arrived. The gluten free wrap arrived with fries and we had to get it refunded. They also gave the wrong bread for the chicken panini and the wrong salad dressing.

Place was likely very short-staffed, but that combination of wait times and incorrect orders (especially for an allergy) is not acceptable.

I visited for the first time today and was so pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly friendly and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I ordered breakfast and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and fast. The cafe was full, yet the service remained attentive, and you can tell they truly care about each guest’s experience.

I’ll definitely be back to try their lunch menu and the baked goods (I overheard someone raving about them!). As an added bonus, there’s a charming little gift shop next door featuring all local makers. Such a great find! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area!

I was impressed with the service, atmosphere and food. My BLT was really good on fresh bread, the fries were amazing and the staff was great. The prices are cheaper than most places. My experience was better than I’ve received at most places around here, coming from someone who has lived here for 35 years. I wouldn’t trust the bad reviews at all. Seems like it is only people who provide back feedback at other establishments. I was asked how my food was twice, I spoke to the cook who was friendly and the place is beautiful inside. I highly recommend Nutty Nettie’s. I’ll be coming back again because I had great food and service in a comforting restaurant atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped at Nutty Nellie’s Café and absolutely loved it. The food was incredible. We both ordered the corned beef breakfast burritos and they were some of the best we have ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and made with real care. The owner was so kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The whole place had such a warm, friendly atmosphere, and the staff made us feel right at home. If you are in the Lewiston or Auburn area, this café is a must-try. We cannot wait to go back.
