Five stars from us! The facility was decorated like a true German tavern in Munich. The staff were courteous and fun. The food and bier was so tasty! We drove 2.5 hours for dinner and will do it again. Prosit!!

We ordered potato pancakes as an app and it took about 20 minutes for them to come out after asking several times.
Potato cakes were very small, hard and overcooked.
The Beef Goulash was tender but had no flavor.
The Pork schnitzel was extremely thin and also hard.
We were regular when they were in Staten Island. Something was lost here.
I will say it was a large establishment and the uniforms matched the theme.

Food was really enjoyable, our server (Jean) was great fun, and beer selection was what we’d hoped for. We really were hoping for a strong German feel, and they delivered. We had four generations with us, so being in the far room was helpful since it was quite loud in the main area. Overall, loved the atmosphere & eats. Visited a year ago by myself since I was in the area for work…everyone loved it. Will eat here again this vacation!

We live over an hour away, but occasionally we want excellent German food and make the trek to this restaurant. The service, quantity, and quality of the food never disappoint. We typically order more food to eat later…today was no different. We started with a pretzel and beef goulash soup. Then ordered a some currywürst and fries for my daughter and myself. My son (who was born in Germany) wanted a kids burger. For dessert we ordered the Black Forest cake. I really wanted the apple strudel, but my walnut allergy makes that decision for me. To bring home, we got an order of Sauerbraten, Goulash and noodles, and käsespatzel. We may have to make a trip back in the near future…everything was delicious!

Seated very quickly. Waitress was very helpful in us picking food. Unfortunately she was so busy everything took long to get. Sat for 15 minutes with the beer we ordered sitting on the bar. The place wasn’t even that crowded. The food itself was wonderful and delicious. The atmosphere is great. We will try again and hopefully our waitress next time will be able to handle a small crowd. All in all a good experience with good food.

Authentic German food but not made as well as if you were in Germany in my opinion (I lived there for 6 years). Still, it was very good. A bit pricey. But you have to expect that for authentic German food in the US when in a rural area and there is no competition. Brats were good. I ordered the courdon blu and it was a pretty large portion and came with 2 sides. The sides were great but the courdon blu was mostly chicken and hardly any cheese and ham so that was disappointing. Overall, I give this restaurant 5 stars because it’s extremely hard to find authentic German food around this area and it was a nice atmosphere as well. The only thing missing is a space for a polka band inside, lol.
Also, our waitress was very nice and patient with my son who is on the spectrum and was very overstimulated as the restaurant was crowded that night. She even brought him out a little sticker book and a tiny squishy animal to help him try and focus on something else.

This was our first time here, we went for lunch. I had the kielbasa with mashed potatoes, and broccoli. I also added on a side of spatzele noodles. He had the chicken schnitzel with German sliced potatoes with bacon and added on a side of red cabbage. He also ordered a Krombacher Helle. We had the 2 soft pretzels for an appetizer. All the food was excellent along with the service. Can’t wait to go back and try other items.

Made a reservation for 21 people for a Birthday Dinner. Everything was ready and they were waiting for us. Our waitress (sorry we didn’t get her name) was Fantastic. Everyone was taken care.
The overall experience was amazing. We had people in our party that were never there, and said they will definitely be returning in the future.
