We LOVE Nuovo Amico!! Since the new owner took over we have been several times and each time it gets better! Mindy and Javier are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and we just love how they make all their guests feel right at home. The pizza rolls, baked mushrooms and charcuterie boards make for the BEST take out (girl) dinner in town!!!

Do yourself a favor and come here!! Service was wonderful, they’re super kind and sweet. We said we were in a rush and they got it out quickly! Low prices especially considering California, and no sacrifice to the food quality: I got their spicy honey pizza and it’s AMAZING! My wife had their lasagna and it is INCREDIBLE!

We happened upon this place while traveling through and walked into the most charming and welcoming atmosphere! It is family owned and operated and they treated us like old friends upon seating. Not only did we have a lovely experience visiting with the owner, but we were all beyond pleased with our meals! The food was absolutely delicious! It was such fortunate happenstance! Highly recommend!

Looking for a Great place to go after the beach? This Italian restaurant is it. Pizza, pasta, burgers, wings and a good bar. Great for couples and families. I had the Beef Ravioli special, with Ceasar Salas & Garlic Toast … Light & Filling. My son had the Chicken Parmesean … a Hearty plate. The atmosphere is just what you think a beach side, hole in the wall, small place would be. I’m definitely coming back.

I stopped in and had a drink at the bar while I ordered food to go. We got the hot honey wings, which were incredible, a bbq chicken pizza, and chicken caser salad. Nuovo Amico will definitely be in our regular rotation from here on out! And it’s close to the top for wings now too. So stoked I came in and excited to come back!

I went on a Sunday around 2 pm and sat on the patio. Even at that off hour there was a surprisingly good crowd inside which says a lot. I had the blistered tomato mozzarella salad and it was fresh and full of flavor. The service stood out the most though, the staff was attentive, upbeat, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. Definitely a spot I would come back to.

We waited over an hour to get our pizza. When it came the pizza was not what we ordered. They did not refill my water once the whole time we were there. Had to go to the front three times to ask for things like napkins, silverware, takeout boxes and the check. The pizza crust was decent.
