I have eaten at numero 28 in Austin and really enjoyed it. Their Bastrop location is awesome! The service? Perfect! The food? Excellent!! I highly recommend it and it is definitely worth a trip to downtown Main Street.

We had a lovely lunch at Numero 28 yesterday. Everything was as delicious as it looks! The gelato was also a big hit but we ate it before i could snag a photo. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, prepare for a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

New restaurant in Bastrop! Thankful to finally have a gluten free optioned Italian restaurant in town. Great food, presentation, and service. Love the atmosphere, but be sure to get a reservation or show up right when they open.

We have been twice so far and plan to go back many more times to try additional menu items! The service has been fantastic, the cocktails and food are delicious and the atmosphere is cool! A great addition to downtown Bastrop!

The service and ambiance were beyond amazing — truly top-notch. However, the food was a bit bland and lacked flavor. I didn’t care too much for the orange sauce used in the lasagna and pasta. The food wasn’t bad, just not very flavorful, so I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.

What a delightful experience! My family loves Italian food, especially pizza and this place did not disappoint. The food was delicious and our waiter was excellent. Super kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our time and have already booked another reservation!!

The food here is amazing!!! This is the 2nd time we’ve been here and we will be back. Michael was our waiter and he was awesome!!! He answered our questions and made some wonderful recommendations. The appetizers, food, and desserts are delicious. You can’t go wrong at the bar or at a table. This is our new favorite date night spot.

Meatballs…so tender and flavorful. Not smothered in sauce…but accentuated.
Pizza…tender. flavorful
Penne boscaiola…A pasta dish just insanely simple and delicious. Prosciutto, mushrooms, pasta and light sauce that was amazing. Each flavor came through and wasn’t smothered.
Michael and his cohorts were friendly, attentive and made it work.
1st time there. Going back as soon as possible.

Numero 28 is the best spot in town!
I’m a big fan of their downtown Austin location and when I learned they were coming here I could barely contain my excitement. My first trip to their new Bastrop location exceeded all expectations! We are so lucky to have them in our community and I can’t wait to spend more time at their restaurant.
The menu offerings, flavors and quality of food simply cannot be beat. As is true with their Austin location, the service is outstanding. Incredibly attentive and professional.

We loved our experience and meal. The whole team is top notch. We met the awesome owner and his partner. We got to sit up front while the Christmas parade ended, it was a good memory. Thanks for being in Bastrop.
