This is the best Chinese food place I have found in Hampton. Their service is impeccable. Their food is delicious. I love this place. Give them your business. They are the best and I enjoy their food tremendously. Good prices, correct orders that are on time. I wish I could say more to praise them.

This restaurant is operated by an excellent family that loves the community in which they live and serve. The food is consistently great. It is always fresh and always hot. The wait is never excessive. They have a great set of lunch specials that are affordable and plenty of food to fill you up. Their dinner/supper size portions are very generous. Everyone has their favorite Chinese Restaurant – Number 1 Kitchen on Nickerson is mine.

We’ve been doing take out from here for years. The food is always hot and the service is both fast and friendly.
We typically do not stray from our staples like the chicken teriyaki appetizers, sweet and sour chicken with extra sauce and white rice; highlights on their extensive menu.
Occasionally we’ll order the hot and sour soup, beef/chicken and broccoli and general tsos, which have all been good in their own right.
Ordering online for pickup is a breeze if you don’t want to just give them a call. They’re consistent and reliable for whenever you’re craving some takeout Chinese.

Never again. The food was old. The 1st bite was hot the 2nd wasn’t. I only took a 2nd because I thought to myself I know they didn’t give me leftover. They did. The white rice tasted like kitchen sink and over all disgusting. How do you mess up and egg roll? I’m very disappointed. I tried to feed it to the dog, he looked at me, huffed and walked away.
If I knew an inspector I’d definitely say something.

Have been eating from here for about a year now and the food has always been great. The food we got yesterday was the worst Chinese food I have ever ate. It wasn’t just one item it was everything. It tasted old and bland and soggy. It was trash and that’s where it went.

My family has been going here since the 90’s. Beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, chicken teriyaki appetizer, sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls are fantastic. Haven’t tried much else on the menu, but never had a bad experience with my favorites. Better than the P.F. Chang’s restaurant I tried a few weeks ago. And way cheaper.

I’ve eaten here before and the food was always good. But today, the food was bland and watered down (the bowl was actually half full of water). Don’t know if they’re trying to keep food costs down or have a new cook. In either case it’ll probably be awhile before I return.

White rice NOT fresh and far from restaurant quality today at lunchtime. Tso chicken the chef did not make spicy like I said twice 2x. Egg roll and food too much fermentation flavor like old sauce. I called back after I bit into the egg roll. a cook answered and I told himthey use too much fish/oyster sauce. That took 5 minutes to convey
I asked for extra spicy, and there was no heat in the meal at all. ….If I want to taste fermented fish flavor all up the general tso I will go to the seafood dealer next to the 7-11 and ask for a shot glass of juice from the bottom of the ice chest to marinade the chicken in. With chicken you chew for over 1 minute. The flavor notes of fish spitting the dry chicken shreds out after chewing the fast- wok with careless undercooked, under developed sauce. After trying their food and writing this. my mouth still tastes like I have held a scaly fish from a lake in it. Like I said, I wanted to toss my food back in the wok and fix it, but the damage was already done. Waste of even using some Foujian hard wood chop stix.
