I typically dont do this but I am so upset. I came in and ordered Mongolian Beef and “Crab” ragoons. I understand a busy business and doing food different depending on the place but my Mongolian beef had maybe 6 slices of beef it was all onion which I love but I ordered the beef for a reason. Not to mention the onions weren’t cooked all the way. Then ordered my “crab” ragoons and it is just cream cheese. Again I know everyone does them different but dont advertise them as one thing if they are something else. As a part of this community im so upset I was robbed of having a good decent meal for 25$ might I add to barley get something eatable.

All onions barely barely any meat I moved to fork around so you can see the bottom of the tray and how much meat it was in there the onions on the list so everybody can see how many onions I got

Reasonable priced authentic Chinese food. Some dishes taste as good as some more pricey restaurants can provide. There are no waiters or waitresses. So service is minimal. But the front desk guy is very friendly.

I go here a lot because I LOVE the food and ofc the crab rangoon, but today I got some for lunch and there was 2 black hairs in my food the 1st one was deep in the chicken and the 2nd was just there. Hair in food doesn’t bother me yes it’s yucky but I’m not in a position to throw away food just because a single piece of hair.

Stopped here after work craving some nice Chinese-American food. I’m not going to critique the decor because it’s not what you come to these little mom and pop eateries for and there’s only so much an owner can do with a little space like that anyway. With that said, I didn’t have any issues interacting with the staff while ordering – they were great.

For a small Chinese place in Lafayette (I’m amazed I actually found one), you could do much worse. The House Lo Mein is really good especially if you don’t think to hard about the source of the ingredients. The Sesame Chicken was not as crispy as I’ve had at some of these places but bear in mind it sat in the car for a minute on the drive home; the flavor was on point – sweet, savory, and smooth. Same with the egg rolls, and the broccoli and rice that came with the chicken did their job fine (hard to screw those up). The only real disappointment was the Crab Rangoon and the Fried Noodles – while the flavor of both was fine, the texture was gnarly – honestly almost cardboard-like on both. They just felt stale like they were coming right up on their expiration date or the bag they came in got left open. Not sure I would get those again.

Either way, as I said, for a ma and pop shop in a strip mall, you could do much worse. If you have a taste for it, this is still a reasonable place to go for the price.

The food doesn’t tastes like Chinese. The meat is watery & there’s no other selection besides rice. The atmosphere is too closed in. Not enough room to dine in.

I am totally disappointed. I ordered last night and I was told my total was $47.00 and then asked to give them my card because they do not have a card swipe machine.. once I got home and saw my bank statement, they had charged me not the $47 I was told, they took out almost $60. When I called them I was told that he added a tip for himself for taking my order.. I have been going here for years and never had this happen. I will never go back.. I mean seriously who gives themselves a $13.00 tip…. wow… it’s ashamed, the food is good..
