Customer service is a lost art these days, and Nuevos Amigos is the best in the business. I was placed in a very challenging position lol my girlfriend is pregnant and was SERIOUSLY craving food from their restaurant….. 5 minutes before they closed. So I called, told them my pregnant girlfriend really wanted some of their amazing food, and asked if it was to late to place an order. The person on the phone laughed and said “absolutely not! Tell us what you want, we will make it!” I was so impressed. Most places won’t even answer the phones when it’s 5 minutes from closing. Best customer service I have experienced in years.

They have definitely just made some Nuevos Amigos out of my family! Very good Mexican food, right up there with Don Julio’s. Honestly, I thought it was better than DJ’s. Great service, order came sub 10 minutes, they kept the chips and salsa coming. Good ambiance, good music and vibe, nice size bar. Super cool to have this place right in Stacy! Fajita Chimichanga was phenomenal. We will be back repeatedly!

I’ve been here more than a handful of times now. The food is great.. depending on the day. You can definitely tell when the good cook is in. On those days whoever else is whipping up in the back the salsas/ queso comes watery or tastes different along with meals missing whole items they’d usually come with. (Like rice) So that’s irritating. Not to mention the service is pretty awful. I have almost always have to get them over to my table to ask for something or a refill. It doesn’t matter if the place is busy or not it’s consistently been this way. And the check?? For some reason they just can’t bring it out at a reasonable time. And I just have to say I’m truly not a picky person but I’ve been here enough times now to understand how it’s run. Overall the quality of food depends on the day and service has always been slow/ inattentive. The last time I went was in a way the last straw for me. Just hope you go on a good day, the food/drinks are too expensive to have issues!

Popped in on our way home from a ski race. Chips were warm, salsa was great, and meals were delicious! Would absolutely make an effort to eat here again next time we are in the area.

The Ceviche is/was fantastic. There was more than enough for an appetizer and could be an entree.
Hubby had a burrito discada and I had enchiladas Michoacán.
The roasted veggies and the hint of it in the beans are amazing

Nice Mexican restaurant in Stacy we have tried a few times. Service was good and relatively prompt, the food is generally very good to excellent, but there were a couple of things we tried that were just OK. The menu is wide-ranging and well executed. Good drinks overall as well. This is a very good option if you are in the area looking for place to eat, you won’t be disappointed.

Went here for my wife’s 38th birthday when this restaurant first opened, and it was the worst experience I personally ever had at a restaurant. Everything seemed to be fine until the server took our drink order. He was nice and polite to my wife when he took her order, but when I told him what I wanted, he was extremely rude when he asked for my ID. His demeanor towards me worsened when I already had my ID ready for him to look at. He marched towards me like he was angry and got so close to my face, leaning halfway on the table, and started eyeballing me for a long period of time, looking at me and my ID, which was very strange. I never had that happen to me in 16 years of being of age. The rest of the experience for me was very strange; he wouldn’t even acknowledge me and only spoke to my wife.

Pro-Didn’t take long to be seated, Which was nice. Very quiet, even with the restaurant being full. Which is very nice because You didn’t feel like you had to scream to have a normal conversation. They have a large menu full of options.
Cleanliness -Table was super sticky, and menus were dirty with food on them as well. The bathroom, besides being super small and only having one stall, was not maintained at all. Extremely dirty,
Was not stocked, and lots of water around the toilet. When I mentioned it to the staff
it went unheard.
The staff were very impatient with us Looking through the menu to decide to order. With the attempt of even rushing us to pick our food. Asked for the steak in our meal to be rare, was told they do NOT do that. The tamale was good, but only comes in chicken. The sauce they use on it is soupy snd slightly off putting.
Conclusion – Staff is rude and very pushy, only came by once to check on us And we noticed they were on their phone the entire time; food is subpar.
And the space is not clean. Not what I expect from an establishment Especially as expensive as this place.
