Nudi in SE Portland absolutely crushed it.
We went for lunch on a Friday and somehow had the entire place to ourselves — which felt like we had unlocked a secret level of Portland dining. Private Thai feast? Don’t mind if I do.
I ordered the garlic frog legs and the fire wings, and let me tell you… both were ridiculous in completely different ways.
The frog legs were insanely tender, crispy on the outside, and swimming in this sweet chili sauce that had just the right amount of kick. Sweet, a little spicy, perfectly balanced. I could’ve ordered a second round and pretended it was “for the table.”
Then came the fire wings — served in the most gloriously weird paper bag situation I’ve ever seen. I don’t know who decided wings should come in a paper bag, but I support that person’s creative journey. They were smoky, spicy, deeply flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Every bite was one of those “okay, just one more” situations.
The rest of the crew ordered noodles and soups, and honestly… I had FOMO. Everything looked amazing. I’m already planning the return trip so I can try half the menu.
Five stars for the food. Five stars for the vibe. Highly recommend. If you’re anywhere near SE Portland, go to Nudi and order boldly. You won’t regret it.

It had been a while since I’ve been back here. The place is located in the Woodstock neighborhood. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area. We ordered the coconut chicken fettuccine, boat noodles, laksa, galbi jjim, chocolate ribs, and kids noodle bowl. I thought that the galbi jjim was well made and had lots of flavors that went well. The coconut chicken fettuccine was also decent. The chocolate ribs were interesting. The server was nice and efficient as he was the only one working the front end of the house when we went.

This under the radar gem was amazing! We had the jap chae and brisket ramen, both of which were packed with flavor, nuanced and balanced. The menu is diverse, excited to try some new things on return.
The atmosphere was so charming, you can tell this place is loved by the owners/workers. Bits of character are splashed around the dining area.
The service was also exceptional, with our server being so nice and accommodating. Check it out!

Always delicious! Tonight, though, oooh let m tell ya! I ordered the Pumpkin Flan dessert. 11/10 Wowowow I had never tried it before. SUBLIME! Seriously. I savored every bit. Already dreaming of the next time I can enjoy the heavenly cozy roasty toasty coconut kabocha with that perfect texture comboooo~ You ever take a bite of something so delicious, intense tingling waves of joy for life wash over you? I can feel my soul being nourished by this Flan. Thank you.

Wow! Where to begin?! Had several appetizers and several main dishes with the family. LOVED the boat noodle. Killer broth and I ate everything down to the last drop. Service was friendly and the vibe is chill. Great outdoor seating options. We will be back!!

So many gluten free options!! The staff are very friendly and very attentive! The menu options are excellent! There were so many gluten free options to chose from, and dairy free too. Every dish was full of unique flavors. Large portions. The egg rolls were amazing! We ordered the spicy chicken wings in medium, they were just enough heat! I ordered the customer favorite and was not disappointed! My very picky eater brother in law ordered the Pad Thai and said “it was above average” that’s a lot coming from him:) all 7 of us enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend this restaurant. IT HAS ITS OWN PARKING LOT! The building is decorated very artistically inside. They also have outdoor seating.

I’ve been passing by this restaurant for years, always quite intrigued due to its name and interesting exterior. Yet it wasn’t until today my partner and I decided to give it a try. They have a fairly creative fusion menu, though it leans more toward Southeast Asian food, and I was immediately captivated by the idea of a fettuccine pasta created with coconut milk. I thought it was a good dish and turned out to be exciting and unique. My partner got the chicken pad thai and thought it was also good. The restaurant was a bit dingy the day we came in, but overall still looked intriguing on the inside, and service was friendly as well. It’s definitely a place to try out if you’re around the Woodstock area quite a bit.

Really wanted to like this spot, first time giving it a try. We ordered the spicy brisket ramen, the broth was incredibly sweet so sweet we had to add our own spices to it when we got home. The brisket while tender, did not have any flavor. While we did not hate anything we got, for an 18 dollar bowl of ramen we were definitely expecting more. The soup overall tasted like there was a heavy amount of honey in it. Unfortunately can’t say this place is worth coming back.
