Consistently the best pizza in Midlothian, and in my opinion, the entire city of Richmond. The crust is crisp on the bottom but wonderfully thin and chewy, the cheese and toppings are always top tier and cooked perfectly. The owner who I assume is Nuccio himself will typically bake the pizza till almost done, and then put the veggies on top and put the pizza black in to finish it so the veggies are always crisp and fresh. I always look forward to ordering from here, and I’ll never go anywhere else.

We ordered Subs and a pizza. I had been looking for a decent Steak and Cheese sub. Notice I said HAD BEEN. I found one of the Best I have had in quite awhile. My daughter said her Sub was also very good. I will definitely be getting this Steak Sub again and Again. Very Very Good. Do your Taste Buds a Favor and get you some. Very Pleased. We had a great experience at AL Dente. Has only been open for about 4 months and is really trying to build up. Salads were good, bread was soft and fresh. Impressed with our entrees as well. Only reason for four stars, no kids menu. Hopefully in the future once they get more traffic they will. In the mean time we will just split our plates with our younger kid.

This Italian restaurant doesn’t provide fancy environment but I can guarantee they provide top-shelf authentic Italian paste in the near by area. Definitely worth for the revisit.

So I ordered online twice. Each time this happened: tonight I ordered a pizza for 8:15 online. I got the responses that it will be ready around 830. Okay, I have time to run a quick errand and then head to the store. *Ding* Pizza is ready (It’s 8:05).
Why was my pizza ready by 8:05? And furthermore, when they called asking where I was and I said “y’all told me 825pm. I’m pulling up at 825 pm. Why did you make it at 805 but tell me 820? This is the second time and its ridiculous.”
The owner got so angry and threw a temper tantrum saying he didn’t text anyone and didn’t know what I was talking about. Pretending he doesn’t know how online orders work nor that the system gives an expected ready by time. He told me it was my fault because I wanted it at a certain time, even though the restaurant tells you when the food will be ready.
The more troubling part aside from any semblance of adulthood responsibility taking, he was shaking and slamming stuff, like a 3 year old having a temper tantrum. I was worried he was going to get violent over me having an issue with the online ordering service.
Thank you to the young man who was level headed trying to calm him down. But I don’t think I could ever feel comfortable in that store again. He was just so angry over something so small where I just wanted to be heard and acknowledged that “yes. There is an issue with the online ordering system and maybe we need to adjust accordingly, would you like us to remake your pizza?”

I’ve been going here for over 13 years. They are a takeout and delivery. He hires his own delivery person so it comes quickly and always hot or a salad in separate bags. It is the best Italian around. It’s tucked away on the corner of Lucks Lane and Courthouse next to the Shell gas station. I love it and would recommend it to all. Great service. Friendly. You can pay over the phone and tip, or tip at your home. Best place in Midlothian!

Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in the shopping center located at the corner of Lucks Lane and Courthouse road. It is tucked away at the end of the long brick building, beside the China restaurant. If you are leaving Food Lion and take a right in the parking lot toward Lucks Lane, look to your left and you will find it there.
The prices are very reasonable and the environment is clean and casual. Take out food is also quite popular.
