Who knew back in 1916, when James Mallis opened the first Nu-Way Weiner stand on Cotton Avenue in Macon, Georgia, that he had created a chili dog that would become an eating obsession? The obsession continues today, and Nu-Way still serves the same secret recipe chili sauce and private label weiners. We also feature the famous MegaBurger® and are open early for breakfast. Got the chili cheese dogs, the buns were dry, the dog was eh, chili was eh cheese wasn’t melted into the dog. Felt like aunt Tammy made it with no love for the kids. Warner robins location is way better. Has love & soul!!! Photo is of warner robins dogs!!!! Not this location

The cashier was so into her phone that she didn’t even look up to give me my receipt. She was in the food prep area with no hair net and nonchalantly handed me my food with no thank you or any other act of courtesy.

The food is not at all what I expected. Chilly cheese fries were soggy fries with a slice of cheese and canned chilli. The dog was a small dog with very little but chilli. I wouldn’t recommend it . The food wasn’t nasty but not worth my money

We stopped there on a Friday afternoon. Everyone there was so nice and polite. My cheeseburger and fries were good as was my wife’s patty melt Service was prompt and prices were reasonable. I’ll defindefinitely stop there again when we’re in the area. The atmosphere was typical fast food loaded with historic photos of the origin NuWay in Macon.

Believe the hype people, if someone recommends this place to you, they like you! The chili has a very subtle and warm sweetness. The sweet tea is amazing, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and try the slaw-chili dawgs…you can thank me later. Rustic diner atmosphere with a large helping of 50’s nostalgia, no wonder they’ve been around since 1916!

Got my food around 4:00 and they gave me old fries and it looks like this. I took a picture to prove it! They also look like they don’t change their grease either. This is not the only time they’ve done this!! Fort Valleys Nu ways is the only ones that always gives old food. Warner Robins and Macon don’t do that. Their food is always fresh and hot!
