Went here for a casual lunch and the food was so good. They opened at 12 on the weekend and I was surprised at how many people were in there right when they opened. The bartender was holding it down with a somewhat full bar and serving all the tables and answering the phone as well. Despite being insanely busy service was still great from him. The size of the burger was generous and the boneless wings were great as well. I’d love to come back here at night for some drinks and to try some of their other wing sauces.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon about 1. There about 10-12 2 or 4 top tables and the bar to sit and eat. Great attentive staff with tons of personality. The menu if good sized with the usual bar type food (burgers, chicken, wraps, wings, etc). I had the Pittsburgh Steak Wrap (steak,fries,slaw) and my wife had the club sandwich. My wrap was large and delicious. My wife’s club was huge and she couldn’t finish it but kept trying as it was really good. Overall a great, friendly experience. One issue is that the place is a little small so close quarters. Lastly, parking is street, so you probably won’t be parking right out front of the door.

Parking was a bit rough because of all the snow. Inside was pretty full so we ended up at the bar seats. Both bartenders were fantastic!! The egg rolls were amazing they are a must have. We had a chicken wrap…delicious. Hamburger…very good. Chicken wings…some of the best I have ever had and French onion soup and yeah it was bomb. Cocktails were really well done and they were on top of everything. My only regret is that it took me so long to try it. Great food…and AMAZING staff!! We are definitely going back!!

When we visit home, my brother in law always finds us a local place to get a fish sandwich and this place didn’t disappoint! The cod was coated in a potato crust that was crunchy good and not greasy! The place is small with a happy atmosphere. The bartender Jessica was awesome with a great fresh strawberry margarita! Even my 91 year old Mom (who never drinks) enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit again!

Nice little neighborhood bar with some excellent food! You haven’t had a hamburger until you’ve tried them via their original cooking method. Sauces and fries are top notch!

Oil used for fries / chips was definitely old and needs replacement.
Burgers cane with wrong sides and were not cooked as requested, also missing components (sauce).

Love this place. Steamed burgers are juicy without being greasy, kids menu is insane value for money, service is always warm and friendly. Genuine neighborhood spot. Strong recommend.

I have been going to Nox for a little over seven years. I honestly can’t say I have ever had a bad meal/experience here. Staff is always friendly, food is always good, and the beer is always fresh. I truly think they have the freshest taps out of any place I’ve ever been. Their seasonal egg rolls are unbelievable. Selfishly, I’m upset I can’t keep this place to myself (mostly because I tell anyone who will listen to go here)! 10/10 every single time!

Nox’s is worth making it ur destination place!! We had to go to Penn Hills today so I used Google maps to find a good restaurant in the area in or near Penn Hills. Nox’s was one of them. I always read the reviews & they were very positive…& rightly so. From the minute we stepped in the door Julie came to greet us…& then much to our delight waited on us. She was very helpful & friendly. She encouraged us to try the Steamers…they were beyond description! The meat was piled a mile high & melted in our mouth…especially topped with their special sauce! And the fries were what we used to call steak fries. They r my favorite & since my steak days r over I have not been able to find them…til today! They were perfectly done to a golden brown & as good as any I ever had with a steak!
We live about 1-1/2 hrs. away & will be making it our special go-to place. It is worth the trip! U won’t be disappointed. Make this ur new go-to place!!
