We had an unforgettable dining experience at **Novita Italian Cuisine** last night! I visited with my fiancée, and from the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely perfect.
The food was simply outstanding — every dish was rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every bite.
What made the evening even more special was the exceptional customer service. From the warm reception at the entrance to the attentive and friendly servers, the entire team was phenomenal. The highlight of the night was when the head chef and owner personally came to our table to check on the food and our satisfaction. That level of care and humility is rare and truly impressive.
I’ve known the owner for almost 30 years, and one thing has never changed — his dedication to giving more than 100% to his customers. His passion shines through in every detail of this restaurant.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give this place 100 stars without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine and world-class hospitality!

Celebrating 10th year anniversary! Novita Italian Cuisine has been around for a decade and honestly, this is still my favourite spot for Italian food in Markham 🙂 It’s great for date nights, GNOs and even large group parties. I have hosted so many dinner parties here in the past years, and I seriously only have praises for this place!
Recent visit on a Thursday night for their Twist & Twirl Thursday dinner specials (20% off pastas and cocktails). We ended up going for the seasonal 3-course meal 😀 Our server was especially warm and welcoming, even though you can tell he is so swamped. He brought us some bread and olive oil dip shortly after putting our orders in.
The lobster bisque was chef’s kiss. It was so creamy and flavourful; I wanted another bowl lol. The warm beet salad was also really tasty. On to the main: the creamy seafood pasta was amazing, it was loaded with shrimps, scallops and mussels. I would definitely order this again! The duck was also tasty. As for dessert, the tiramisu and the panna cotta are must-orders #nobrainer

I never known about this restaurant until recently I search for lamb rack. In fact they are opened for over 10 years. The food was better then expected, and the portion is not bad.

my friends and I stopped by Novita for my birthday lunch and I must say, their food and customer service was fantastic! The server, Arthur was very attentive as well as the owner, who made sure our food was delicious and that we were satisfied. They even surprised me with a special birthday dessert! I would definitely be back.

We spent Valentine’s Day here and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience.
The restaurant has a cozy, intimate vibe that made the night feel extra special. They even gave out real roses, which was such a thoughtful and romantic touch. It’s small details like that that show how much care and attention they put into their guests’ experience.
Our server (we unfortunately forgot her name — she wears glasses!) was outstanding. Her service was lightning quick, but never felt rushed. She checked in on us consistently, and as soon as we finished our appetizers, our mains came out right away. The timing was seamless and everything felt very well coordinated.
It really seems like they specialize in pasta and seafood because there were so many options to choose from. My fiancee ordered the seafood pasta and it looked absolutely incredible — packed with mussels, shrimps, and clams, which was a huge plus. The portions were generous and beautifully plated.
Overall, such a romantic and thoughtfully executed Valentine’s dinner. Cozy atmosphere, attentive service, amazing pasta and seafood, and that lovely rose to end the night — we’ll definitely be back.

The food here is good. We had the chance to get the January 3-course meal. The main course Options are available to choose from veal, lasagna and fish, we chose the veal and lasagna. They both good and the dessert are also impressive.

Had a great experience here today. The food tasted truly authentic — we ordered the halibut and chicken ravioli with risotto on the side, and everything was delicious. The ravioli and risotto were especially creamy and flavorful. We started with bruschetta, and the chef even treated us to tiramisu on the house, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time with our group celebrating a birthday at Novita! We’ve always seen it driving on Hwy 7 and been wanting to go for years. They did not disappoint, the food was top notch and we’ll definitely be returning. I got the surf and turf plate and the steak was perfectly cooked medium with generous portions of accompaniments. Ours got different pasta options which were excellent as well. Can’t wait to be back and try out more of the menu. The service staff were also super friendly and attentive which made our experience all the more enjoyable!
