Pizza was Napolitana style and cooked well, could have been a bit more well done to be a little more crispy, but overall very good. Cheese was fresh, sauce tasted good not sweet not bitter. Beer recommendation was great that server Julius made. Great service fast food prep, had my pizza in less than 5 minutes from when I ordered it. Had my drink in less time than that.
I had their Hawaiian pizza. My older daughter (17) had a margherita pizza, and my younger daughter (14) had their oriecchetti pasta. We also got an order of their cheesy bread as an appetizer. The pizza crust was thinner, but still chewy with a light crust. I was a little disappointed because I thought the Hawaiian pizza would come with the red sauce, but I think they just made it with olive oil and garlic. It was still pretty good, and came with ham, candied pineapple, bacon bits, and mozzarella. The cheesy bread was the same crust as the pizza, with the same olive oil and garlic and a thick layer of mozzarella.
The place had great ambiance, the service was quick and the young lady waiting on us was very friendly and helpful.
I’d highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back and trying the pasta.
First, we sat for 11 minutes before a server came to say hello and get our drink order. I was on the verge of getting up to leave. We arrived at 5:00 pm on Friday and there were only 3 other tables sat when we got there. During our entire visit our waiter only came 3 times. And we noticed ALL of the waitstaff and hostess played on their phones constantly. Completely unacceptable. If you want to look at your phone at least go to the back to check it or out of sight. Not standing in front of guests.
The food was mixed. We started with the sushi app and my wife liked it pretty well. We shared a Cesar salad that was not bad, but needed something. I had the lasagna which was pretty good, my wife had the bolognese which was just ok. The noodles on my lasagna were cooked well, my wife’s noodles were mushy baby food. Also, I asked for a little more of the béchamel that came on mine and my wife requested more ricotta that came on hers. They brought us roughly a tablespoon of each and that was a $5.00 up charge. Ouch.
The restaurant has a nice look and maybe it was just an off night, but when there are so many great restaurants, there is absolutely zero reason to give 90 another chance. Our bill was over $70. We normally have 2 nice meals out a week and we will gladly spend $150+ on a great meal. This was not that.
Finally, it may have not been their fault, but inside the restaurant, not outside, inside- there was a seweresque smell. Definitely not appetizing.
To those about to dine, go elsewhere. Too many good places to waste time on poor ones.
10/10 lasagna as well. Bolognese sauce to die for!!!
The menu isn’t super extensive but it’s got a couple classics on it.
I thought the arancini were quite good, served with three different sauces. Nice crunch on the outside and nice and melty with mozz on the inside.
Chicken parm – good, a little short of great. The red sauce is just right, to my taste. But I feel like it’s maybe a bit over-sauced; the breaded chicken lost some of the good crunch and texture you get with a stellar preparation. Not bad though, and I felt like it was a good portion for the price point.
