Where do I begin? We walked in at 9:00 PM and were seated almost immediately, but unfortunately, we saw red flags from the start. The plastic parts of the water bottles had black mold all over them, and the ‘clean’ grill was burnt and oily.
The atmosphere was extremely chaotic; whenever someone is celebrating, they blast music at full volume for two minutes, making it impossible to hear the person sitting across from you. Additionally, the seating layout is strange—there is a huge open area between tables, so you’re awkwardly facing the people at the table next to you.
Service was confusing, as we had three different servers and never knew who was actually ours. While the bathroom was decently clean, I witnessed something another reviewer mentioned: a server eating straight off the food display. I’m extremely disappointed because this place was recommended to me by so many people. The food was just ‘okay’—certainly not worth the money. I left disappointed and with a stomach ache.

This place was amazing to say the least. You do have the option to have assistance with cooking on your grill or you are free to cook for yourself. The variety of food is amazing, I recommend trying their cheese corn!

The servers were always prompt with grill changes when needed. One of my favorite things about Nosh is they have a vent right above the grill so you don’t leave smelling like the food.

This place is a Must Try!

Well, let me start with our first visit 2 months ago was great!! The server was attentive the food was great!. We were thrilled to come back. I regretted it today! . I decided to take my in-laws I spoke to them highly about this place and our great experience! And that it was better than Iron Age! In Rockville!. The food quality very poor the service form the young guy was bad he was setting the food on the goes with such patience and slowly which made me think was a strategic move! Because you get 90 minutes and there was 6 of us. When we asked for drinks he brought cans instead out fountain soda! Another strategic move! When we asked what had happened to the fountain soda he said they never served that which was a lied! I was there 2 months ago and they served drinks that way of course strategic move no refills. They definitely not just lost us as costumers but many of our friend and you that are reading this review! You want a good time go to Iron Age! They never disappoint. and sometimes if is cheap is for a reason. Btw the tasted horrible!!!!!!!!!

There wasn’t too much flavor on the meat as I would have liked but there was still enough, just wish there was more.

I love the fact that they have corn cheese and eggs on the side and they keep refilling it, the flavors on those are super yummy and the egg is always fluffy! It cooks along with the meat which is kinda nice so you don’t have to keep ordering the side dishes.

I recommend checking them out! Super fun experience and service was great.

Here’s a detailed review of Nosh Grill House in Rockville:

If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in Rockville, Nosh Grill House is a must-visit. Open until 2 AM, it’s a fantastic spot for late-night diners craving high-quality Korean barbecue in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

The standout feature of Nosh Grill House is, without a doubt, the quality of the meat. Every cut is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, making it clear that they prioritize sourcing top-tier ingredients. Whether it’s the tender marinated short ribs, perfectly seasoned pork belly, or the melt-in-your-mouth brisket, every bite was a testament to their commitment to excellence. The variety on the menu ensures there’s something for every palate, whether you’re a seasoned K-BBQ enthusiast or trying it for the first time.

Another highlight is the unobtrusive yet thoughtful service. The staff is attentive without hovering, always ready to offer recommendations, refill banchan (side dishes), or expertly grill the meats for you if needed. They strike the perfect balance between being helpful and giving you space to enjoy your meal and conversation. It’s a level of service that adds to the overall comfort of the dining experience.

The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with well-ventilated grills that ensure you can enjoy the sizzling barbecue without leaving with a smoky aroma clinging to your clothes. It’s the perfect setting for a casual dinner with friends or even a late-night feast after a long day.

Open until 2 AM, Nosh Grill House is a rare gem for night owls and those spontaneous late-night cravings. Whether you’re coming in for a full barbecue experience or just some late-night comfort food, they deliver consistently.

In short, Nosh Grill House is a place where quality, service, and convenience come together seamlessly. Whether you’re in the area or willing to travel a bit for a truly great meal, this spot is worth every visit. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m bringing more friends to share the experience!

Probably my favorite restaurant in Rockville (or even the DMV area). The Qiqihar lamb/beef and pork belly with sour cabbage included in the premium ayce are mind blowing. The cold noodles are also really tasty and authentic.

5 out 5 | 10 out of 10 , however you want to put It – they are winning!

The level of intentionality, service, and quality was very impressive.

I love me some BBQ but this experience was special. I really love the atmosphere and how the team worked together.

Jason and Patrick were our waiters which was nice because It wasn’t sole on one individual so you can see they definitely have a system in place.

The little cat robot was my favorite! It was so cool and cute! It made our experience that much better!

Let’s talk quality- when I mean all the meats were well seasoned- the steak cut like butter, I didn’t even have to do much chewing and the portions were quite large. The biggest difference for me was the flavor It truly was a different experience from Korean BBQ- I feel like I like this better!
We tried the season steak, garlic butter garlic, spicy brisket, teriyaki, chicken, and bulgogi- everything was delicious!

We didn’t have the chance to do the two free karaoke songs or try the s’mores but I’m not worried about that because we will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a well oiled machine!

Came here for the first time recently for late Sunday lunch—wasn’t packed so we were seated right away at a booth. The restaurant has a cool ambiance! First thing I noticed sitting down is that the table is a bit far from the seat, so there was a huge gap i between which I didn’t like, and I couldn’t move the bench.

Food was good. My friends and I got the Premium All You Can Eat for $36.95—which has the quality meats such as Marinated Beef Rib and Beef Ribeye that the regular AYCE doesn’t have—but beware, it’s ONLY 1 order per person for these meats. Beef Brisket and Garlic Chili Beef Brisket were good too! Wasn’t a fan of the Pork Belly with Chinese Sauerkraut. Not a lot of banchans offered (complimentary sides) either. They have corn cheese and mushrooms around the rim of the grill—it took a while for those to heat up, but were good once ready!

Drinks wise, we enjoyed the Soju (Jinro is Back). They have beer towers too—for $18, which I thought was reasonable. Service was great—our server Steven was really cool and attentive! He even brought out a small lamp to help us see our meats cooking better since the smoke suction pipe was blocking the light to the grill.
